Louna group: history of creation, composition, style

Louna is a Russian rock band. Some journalists refer to it as a "side project" of another famous rock band called Tracktor Bowling. Musicians, however, deny this definition in an interview. They insist that the Louna group is an independent project. The collective received popularity in 2010, when the debut album "Make Loud!" Was released. Immediately the songs of this group were headed by popular "thematic" charts.

Group name

It happened, as it is not hard to guess, from the word Luna. The finishing touch was the letter "o", added to the name of guitarist Ruben.

Genre

The genre of this group can be defined as experimental alternative music. Some people think that this is an alternative metal. Creativity of the team is at the junction of a variety of style trends and genres of recent times. The Louna group is one of the most unusual projects on the Russian stage today. In her songs you can hear the echoes of an alternative line, which is the main one. At the same time, grungy notes also sound (post-grunge - in the official version). One can say with certainty that the genre to which the work of this group could be attributed does not yet exist. Therefore, it makes no sense to build analogies. The attribution to such a genre as an alternative metal is somewhat contrived. You can consider the creativity of this collective experiment, which has already proved its worth. The Louna group has thoughtful, vivid texts. They are aimed at combating various vices of our time, including social injustice and religious fanaticism.
