The lack of demand in the work forced Lyudmila to leave the noisy metropolis in the countryside where her aunt lived.

Once in the village she met a man on a horse, and Lyudmila fell in love. Her chosen one was a simple farmer, from whom she gave birth to Grigory's son. But after a while Kurepova became nostalgic for city life and eventually returned to St. Petersburg, but without a spouse.

Work on the set

For the first time, actress Lyudmila Kurepova appeared in the cinema in 1989. Director Ayan Shakhmalieva offered the girl an episodic role in the film "It was near the sea". In the center of the plot is the uneasy life of young girls from the orphanage. The next role in the movie was only after 6 years.

Initially, the actress was supposed to play the heroine of Anna, but then the director Cyril Kazakov changed his mind and gave the actress the role of Sonya. And although it was not the most expressive and bright from the point of view of emotionality, Lyudmila liked to try it on himself. But the shooting process was not easy: on the day it was necessary to shoot at least 10 takes.
