Islam: The 99 names of Allah and their meanings

In the holy book of the Muslims of the Koran it is said that the Lord has not one name, but many. The name of the Lord and the Lord Himself are not distinct, therefore it is considered a great insult to neglect to pronounce His names or to consider that they all belong to different Gods.
