About all this we learn in this article.

Who is an angel?

The angel is the messenger of God, His servant. In the Holy Scripture this is the way this description is described. This is actually a literal translation, which is translated from Greek ("angelos") as "messenger, messenger".

About that, who such an angel, know all over the world, in every religion. According to the Holy Scripture, the angels were created long before the creation of the whole world, and their purpose is to serve God. What kind of service? They glorify God, deliver messages from Him to man, protect people and perform many more tasks. Many of them carry a certain mission.

But there are also those angels who refused to obey the will of God for unknown reasons. They were sent to punishment in the netherworld and called the fallen ones. The fallen angel refers to the misanthropic and evil army of the rebellions that rebelled against God and man.

What does an angel look like?

Many priests express their opinions on the nature of the angel. In most of them, they agree that an angel is an easy, fiery, penetrating and fast essence. Also, they aspire to goodness and service to God, which is quite appropriate, discipline and infallibility, nobility and obedience. Such qualities of the angel proceed from the purposes they serve.

The angel does not have a physical body, and he is endowed with immortality. The essence is intelligent, possessing intelligence and relative freedom. Angels, which is not surprising, do not have age and sex, do not change with time. As it was created from the beginning, in this form it remains.

Despite this freedom given to the angel, he is limited by space. That is, in several places simultaneously it can not be, but it is able to move with great speed.

Who is an angel, you can learn only from the words of clergymen and eyewitnesses, who managed to see his coming. Neither to confirm nor to refute these facts is impossible.

Of course, we can only assign these features to the angels only conditionally, since no one knows exactly how they look. This is a completely different level of understanding and awareness that people are not given.

Angels are known to us as beings who look like a man with white wings behind his back. Wings in this case are a symbol of the speed of the will of God.

Often angels are depicted in armor or cassocks, with wands, spears or axes in their hands as the embodiment of the Celestial Host.

Angelic ranks

There is a certain system of angelic ranks, a special hierarchy, generally accepted for all. Thus, the entire angelic army is divided into three large groups, or triads.

The first triad includes the Cherubim (the name means "the abundance of knowledge and wisdom"), the Seraphim ("flaming") and the Thrones ("withdrawn from the earthly and aspiring to God"). These are higher ranks, which are the purest and indestructible in their devotion to God.

In the second triad are the Reigns, Powers and Powers. These angels are constantly enlightened by God's wisdom, and do not listen to it, but simply contemplate. Reigns are engaged in the fact that they instruct the earthly kings and rulers to wisely rule. Angels of the order of the Force send grace to God's saints and work miracles on earth. But in the powers of the authorities - the taming of diabolical intentions, the angels of the authorities lead us away from temptation; Also these church angels control the natural elements.

Well, the third triad consists of Elements, Archangels and Angels. This is the group closest to people. Thanks to them, the will of God comes to us, helping us to improve ourselves. The beginnings are governed by all laws of nature, the Universe, protected by nations and peoples. Archangels are the vehicles of God's revelations, they bring good news about the mysteries of God. Angels are with each person. They are assigned to protect and instruct us on the spiritual life.

Who are the fallen angels?

In fact, this entity was once also bright and pure, created by God. But once giving up God, this angel was banished from the Heavenly Kingdom for his evil deeds, which made him dark and vindictive, and was now called the "fallen angel."

In Orthodoxy, fallen angels are also called angels of darkness. The most famous representatives are demons and demons, they serve Satan, the devil.

For the first time, Satan appears in the days of Adam and Eve as a snake tempter who persuades Eve to taste the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Knowledge and disobey the will of God, for which they were later punished and expelled from Paradise.

The fallen angel is a cunning tempter, whose mission is to destroy the inner peace of a person, his faith in God and virtue, the urge to commit sinful actions that alienate man from God.

The Devil (Lucifer) was once also the supreme angel, among the closest to God. But it so happened that he was proud of himself and equated himself with the Father, for which he was cast into hell. He was the first of the fallen.

Guardian angels: who are they?

Repeatedly mentioned in literature, cinema, music and everything that surrounds a person, the idea that each of us has a personal patron. What kind of patron, to the aid of which many people count? This is the guardian angel.

According to the Holy Scripture, such an angel is given by God to every person from birth and baptism. The strength and capabilities of this angel depend on the spirituality of the person, the positivity of his thinking and the good deeds that he does.

Christian traditions say that every person has two principles - good and evil. Behind his right shoulder is a kind guardian angel, instructing on the right path, and behind the left is the evil spirit-tempter, who wants to turn a person into evil. These two angels accompany a person throughout his life. Then they lead to the gates of Paradise (heavenly angel) or Hell (the fallen angel), depending on which way in life a person has chosen - good or evil.

That's why we are baptized right-to-left, the handshake is done with the right hand, and the right hand is also attached to the heart. You can still bring many such examples, the essence remains the same: the right side is very symbolic in Christianity.

It is believed that when we do some kind of good deed, our patron angel is happy and takes great strength, and when evil - sad and weak. Prayer to the angel should be sincere and pure.

Are there really guardian angels?

When it becomes clear who the patron angel is, questions arise about whether their existence is truthful. Is it really our lifelong spiritual advocate with us around? Can someone confirm the existence of such an entity as a guardian angel?

Of course, there is no scientific confirmation of the existence of angels, as well as refutations, too. Many people turn to angels and God in the most difficult moments in their lives, despite the lack of evidence.

There are many different situations in which people miraculously survive. This can be written off for luck and say that "a man was born in a shirt." So will skeptics. And we can conclude that if a person survived under improbable conditions, then he is good, and a strong guardian angel is attached to him, which protects him.

Angel of Death

Before talking about this angel, it is worth noting that the Bible does not say anything about the existence of a separate angel responsible for the presence next to the person who dies.

Despite this, other religions have references to such a being. For example, in Judaism, the angel of death is known as Sariel, Azrael or Samael, in Islam it is Malak Al-Mawth, in Hinduism - Yamaraja or Yama.

In different religions and mythologies, the angels are represented in different ways - a skeleton with a scythe in a black robe, a young woman or an old woman, even a child. Despite his appearance, his mission in one: the presence at the time of death of a person and either contemplation of this process, or direct participation in it.

In Christianity, such obligations could be placed on any angel solely by the will of God, but separately the angel of death does not exist. Often these angels are mistakenly called fallen angels, but this is not so.

What language do angels speak?

Today it is considered that Enochian is the language of angels. The reliability of this fact can not be confirmed or denied. This language was created by occultists J. Dee and E. Kelly, he was secret. As claimed by the creators of this theory, Kelly received this knowledge from the angels during meditation.

As a separate language, the Enochian does not exist. There is an alphabet, and also keys to it, because the language is encrypted.

How to pray to the angel?

An angel can be contacted for help. There are special prayers addressed to the personal guardian angel and calling him to patronage and proceeds.

It is important to treat with all sincerity and be a pure soul. In fact, it is not so important what you say, and what kind of prayer an angel will have. He knows about your thoughts, and if you ask for help in good deeds, he will certainly help.
