How to put the tile on the floor in the bathroom?

To perform this work, two methods of fixing are used: with cement mortar and using glue. The second option is considered to be less time consuming and much more practical. So, let's talk about how to glue the tile on the floor, and what you need for this.

At the beginning of the work, it is necessary to properly clean the surface of the old tile from dirt and degrease it properly. Then, using a paint roller or brush, apply the primer immediately to the entire surface. The consumption of the material necessary for work can be calculated in advance. As a rule, it is equal to 300 g per 1 square meter of the floor surface.

After applying the primer, you must wait for it to dry completely. Usually it takes about three hours. Then you can start the process of laying the tile on the floor. To do this, the previously prepared adhesive should be applied to the surface of the tile with a notched trowel, after which it must be pressed firmly against the floor. Once all the tiles are laid, you need to work the seams, that is, with a rubber spatula, evenly apply a special grout to the joints of the tiles. After it dries, the floor must be wiped with a damp soft cloth or sponge. Fitted with glue, the floor tiles will be ready for use after two days.
