Installation of the pump in the house heating system. How to install a circulation pump correctly?

Private dwellings - today is not uncommon. This ceased to be something exceptional - to build a good, sound house on its site. In the past, all sorts of sheds and stalls left, but with them simplicity in construction also departed. For a good private house, you need to conduct all communications - otherwise what kind of apartment house does it turn out to be? And now with such moments there are problems, at least from time to time. Below is the instruction for installing the pump in the heating system - this is a very important point. But what really is there, installing a pump in the heating system of a private home is one of the most important things!

Types of devices

After the state decided that in a private country house you can also register, the owners of such buildings began to think about the possibility of living on their land. Naturally, for this you need to carefully think everything over and rework a little. It is not surprising, because to turn a summer cottage into a full-fledged cottage, one should try very hard.

Capital internal heating is one of the most necessary steps in the arrangement of a private house. So it is not surprising that the installation of the pump in the heating system is becoming more frequent. This happens only because no matter what the autonomous part of the heat supply is, for year-round operation it is required to install additional equipment. Often, only a pump is used if there is already heating.

For consumers today there are two main options - water and circulation elements. Let's talk about them below.

Water element

Installing the pump in the house heating system is the most often requested service. But we must not forget that there are also much more powerful models that can quite heat a multi-apartment house. The last option, rather, is exotic, not the rule. Therefore, here it is heating the usual private cottage.

Such pumps are not as popular as circulation pumps, but they still have their audience. Installing a water pump in a heating system is an excellent solution if the rest of the system in a small house is already equipped.

Parts required for installation

In addition to the water pump itself, the heating system, in whose heart it should become, includes several important details and devices, and ignoring them will have negative consequences:

• Fuel boiler.
• Hydraulic collector.
• Hydraulic circuit (water supply system).
• Radiator.
• Mixing circuit (additional system element).
• Pressure, temperature, water flow sensors.
• Overheat protection system.
• Air outlets.
• Overpressure protection system.
• Air release valves. It is not necessary to talk about which element is more important here, in such a procedure as installing a water pump in a heating system. All of them are equally necessary, and therefore forget about something strongly not recommended.

Circulation pumps

This is the second type of device, which has already been said. It should be noted that installing the pump in a heating system (especially a circulating system) is not a very complicated but extremely useful procedure. Naturally, it is better to call masters who will cope with work faster. But, in principle, you can do it yourself. Especially if you ask in advance the question of how to properly install the circulation pump in the heating system.

Advantages of circulating pumps

• Low demand for heat supply systems - that is, all kinds of slopes, narrow sections, etc., will not affect the quality of heating. In addition, these parts are suitable for a gravity heating circuit (that is, where there is no own circulation).
• Rapid overclocking of the system - this, as the name implies, provides a quick warm-up of the living quarters. That is, installing the pump in the heating system makes it more efficient.
• Reliable operation - easy maintenance and a fairly simple operation mechanism ensure a safe and very long operation of the device.
• High efficiency factor - as it was said before, the installation of a pump in the heating system increases the efficiency of its operation. The circulating element raises the efficiency of the work to the maximum.

Types of circulation mechanisms

As in any other technique, there are several different kinds of parts. So before you figure out how to properly install a circulating pump in a heating system, it's best to find out which circulating pump is needed. They come in two types:

1 . "Dry". Characterized by the fact that the pump rotor does not contact the coolant. They are equipped mainly with high-rise buildings and large premises. Installation of the pump in the heating system of the house, if it means "dry" type, is fraught with some consequences, for example noise. It will create twists of air, which will, in turn, cause noise, which will interfere with living. That's why in private houses such pumps are rarely installed.
2. "Wet." This type is characterized by the fact that the rotor is immersed in water, which it pumps. It is these pumps that are most often installed in the heating systems of private houses and small living quarters.

Mounting technology

To facilitate the task or the work of specialists who will carry out the procedure, it is best to purchase such pumps and equipment where the assembly includes split threads. If this is not available, then you will have to suffer, selecting various adapters. In addition, you will need to buy a deep filter, as well as a check valve that will ensure normal operation under pressure - and this does not depend on the type or type of the item being purchased, since installing the pump in the heating system simply requires all these parts. Among other things, you will need some tools. To cut the pump it will be necessary to stock up with wrenches of different sizes - from twenty-two to thirty-six. This is usually enough. Also, a stop valve and a pipe section (the latter will play the role of a bypass) with a diameter that is equal to the diameter of the riser is also necessary.

Selecting the place of the frame

That such procedure, as installation of the pump in the heating system, did not cause any difficulties, it is necessary to consider several moments. First, consider the fact that heat supply equipment should be serviced. That is, the place should be sufficiently accessible for such procedures.

Other nuances

There are other features. For example, before pumps were installed on a return-flow - there was an opinion that chilled water, washing the working part of the element, prolongs its service life. Today, there is no such problem, since the details of the mechanisms are resistant to any water temperature. So the installation of the pump in the heating system for feed or return is no longer important.

In order to increase the pressure in the suction zone, the part is best installed in the feed pipe section - it is possible and near the point of entry into the expansion tank system. Such a circuit will provide a high temperature at a given section of the network. But for high efficiency, you need to buy an element that is resistant to a strong pressure of hot water.

You can make sure that the location of the pump in the heating system must be strictly defined - otherwise it will be impossible to achieve good efficiency.

Diagram of the location of devices in the pump connection

To install the pump correctly, you must follow a number of simple rules:

• Ball valves are installed on both sides. This is necessary so that the pump can be dismantled, for example during repair or replacement.
• Before the pump, a filter cuts into the pipe - this is necessary to prevent large mechanical particles from entering with water.
• The upper part of the bypass is equipped with an air valve. Air jams are not uncommon in such systems, and they should be avoided.
• The direction indicated by the arrow on the device must be observed - the movement of water must go strictly in this direction.
• "Wet" pumps are mounted horizontally. This device is protected from serious damage, if not the entire motor is immersed in water.
• The pump terminals are facing up.
• Threaded connections are equipped with gaskets and protected by sealants.
• Connect the pump exclusively to a grounded outlet.

Sequence of installation works

• In case you are installing the pump into an active network, the coolant must be drained. A heating system with a large "experience" is best cleaned by running water several times over it.
• The functional chain from the valve and the pump is respected according to the installation rules.
• After installing and testing the system, it is filled with water.
• The last stage - the central screw turns, the excess air is removed. When water comes out of the holes, the element is ready for operation.

The last step is necessary for hand pumps - automatic models cope with the air themselves. But if your unit is manual, then this procedure must be repeated every time before turning it on.
