"Double glazing" - how to understand this name?

Windows with double-glazed windows have not surprised us for a long time. They came into our lives, and we almost all became specialists who understand all their nuances. But such a concept as a double-glazed window is somewhat inaccurate, and does not quite reflect the essence.

If you put the windows out of plastic, then you should pay attention to the profile itself. In the apartment it is necessary to install plastic with a box width of more than 62 mm. These can be profiles of different firms. It is not the name that is more important here, but the temperature characteristics of the system. If you have a cold winter, then here is more suitable profile with a width of 74 mm and a 44 mm glass packet. Sometimes it is preferable to immediately choose an improved version, so that later there are no additional problems.
