Indications for use "Trombo ACC", instructions, reviews

Vascular thrombosis leads to the development of serious diseases that are dangerous to human life. Almost all patients at risk are receiving acetylsalicylic acid as a prophylaxis for the disease. Antiaggregant effect is also the drug "Trombo ACC". It belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Indications for use of "Trombo ACC", the recommended dosage and the treatment regimen are described in detail in the instructions in the manual. It is mandatory to read this information before starting treatment.

General description of the preparation

"Trombo ACC" is a representative of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. These drugs reduce the symptoms of inflammation, which are usually accompanied by many pathological conditions. Despite the popularity of NSAIDs, they should be used with extreme caution. Such treatment is fraught with serious side effects.

To treat cardiovascular disorders, Trombo ACC is often prescribed. The medicine is produced by the Austrian pharmaceutical company "GL Pharma, GmbH". The main action of the drug is aimed at reducing aggregation of platelets, reducing the formation of thrombi, removing the inflammatory process and anesthesia.

"Trombo ACC": composition and form of release

Before using the medication, the patient is required to familiarize himself with the ingredients that make up the composition. The main active ingredient is acetylsalicylic acid, popularly known as aspirin. "Trombo ACC" is available in the form of tablets coated with a special film shell. It provides protection of the mucous surface of the stomach from the negative effects of acetylsalicylic acid and dissolves only in the intestine. One such tablet contains 50, 75 or 100 mg of the active ingredient.

As auxiliary components, colloidal silica, lactose monohydrate, potato starch, microcrystalline cellulose are used.

Mechanism of action

Acetylsalicylic acid has long been known in medicine and is used for the manufacture of various drugs. The anti-inflammatory effect of the substance is due to the selective blocking of the functions of COX 1 (enzyme cyclooxygenase). This causes inhibition of the synthesis of thromboxane, prostaglandins and prostacyclin - substances that provoke the development of the inflammatory process. Platelets can not form a new enzyme, which allows the antiaggregant effect to manifest itself to a greater extent by reducing their gluing. This allows you to take the medicine in small doses.

Acetylsalicylic acid prevents blood clotting, enhancing its fibrinolytic activity. Also, the substance provides analgesic and antipyretic effect.

Indications for use

"Trombo ACC" instruction advises prescribing for the following diseases:

  • Prevention of thromboembolism after surgery on vessels;
  • Prevention of blood clots in deep veins;
  • Primary and secondary prevention of stroke of the brain;
  • Prevention of transient cerebral circulation;
  • diabetes;
  • High blood pressure;
  • smoking;
  • Severe obesity;
  • Unstable angina;
  • Chronic venous insufficiency;
  • Varicosity;
  • Primary and secondary prevention of myocardial infarction;
  • Hyperlipidemia.

Also, the drug on the basis of acetylsalicylic acid is recommended for all elderly people. Indications for use of "Trombo ACC" are mainly associated with the prevention of cardiovascular pathologies. Due to the insignificant content of acetylsalicylic acid tablets can be taken for a long time. The treatment regimen and dosage of the drug should be determined by a specialist.

Mode of application

The instruction describes in detail how to take "Trombo ACC". The manufacturer strongly recommends that you drink tablets before meals, but not on an empty stomach. This will help reduce the risk of side effects. Also, the tablets are washed down with a lot of water, do not chew and do not divide.

Dosage of medication

It should be noted that only a doctor can prescribe for treatment a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug "Trombo ACC". The dosage of the medication will depend on the diagnosis of the patient. As a prevention of strokes and heart attacks, tablets should be taken for a long time. The daily dosage is 50-100 mg (one or two tablets per day). The same dose is indicated for the prevention of angina pectoris. Patients with the threat of a repeated transient ischemic attack are recommended to take 75-300 mg of acetylsalicylic acid per day.

If the risk of thromboembolism of the pulmonary artery or deep veins increases the dosage of the drug "Trombo ACC". 100 mg is the minimum dose of active ingredient for such patients. According to the indications, it can be increased to 200 mg per day. The drug can not be taken concomitantly with other medicines from the NSAID group. The duration of therapy is determined on an individual basis.

When is it forbidden to take medicine?

The diluting properties of acetylsalicylic acid are indeed important in some cases. But on the other hand, such therapeutic action poses a serious threat to life if the patient has at least one of the following diseases:

  • Erosion and ulcers of the gastrointestinal tract;
  • Hemorrhagic diathesis;
  • bronchial asthma;
  • Age up to 16 years;
  • Intolerance to acetylsalicylic acid;
  • Internal bleeding;
  • Acute renal or hepatic insufficiency;
  • Lactose intolerance ;
  • Chronic heart failure;
  • Intolerance to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs;
  • Recurrent pollinosis in combination with bronchial asthma and intolerance to aspirin.

The drug is prohibited for women who suffer from great blood loss during menstruation. With special care, tablets are prescribed for patients who have a history of chronic respiratory diseases.

Taking the drug during pregnancy

During the study of the drug, there was no relationship between congenital malformations and the reception of "Trombo ACC". However, experts recommend refraining from taking pills in the first and third trimester. Exceptions are cases in which the expected benefit to the mother is greater than the risk of developing congenital pathologies. To appoint a medicine for dilution of blood to the future mother can only the attending physician.

If necessary, the medication can be prescribed after delivery. An insignificant dose of acetylsalicylic acid contained in tablets "Trombo ACC" (50 mg) does not adversely affect lactation. If long-term therapy is needed, breastfeeding should be abolished or interrupted.

Features of the drug

Inhibitory properties persist for several days, which can cause bleeding during surgery or during the recovery period. Therefore, you should refrain from taking the tablets before the operation.

On the part of the hemopoiesis, the risk of side effects is significantly increased with the simultaneous administration of "Methotrexate" and "Trombo ACC" (the price of the drug depends on the dosage of the active ingredient). High doses of acetylsalicylic acid have a hypoglycemic effect. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes who receive insulin and hypoglycemic medicines for oral use.

It is not recommended to combine ibuprofen with acetylsalicylic acid. The first has a negative effect on the cardioprotective effect of aspirin, which can have serious consequences for patients with cardiovascular diseases.

Persons who have a predisposition to gout should avoid drugs based on acetylsalicylic acid. "Trombo ACC" (tablets) instruction does not advise taking simultaneously with anticoagulants, antiplatelet drugs and thrombolytic agents. Such therapy increases the risk of bleeding.

With simultaneous treatment with valproic acid, aspirin increases its toxic effect. It is not recommended to take "Trombo ACC" in combination with corticosteroids to avoid gastrointestinal bleeding.

Side effects

The first thing that a patient learns when prescribing a new drug is an indication for use. "Trombo ACC" should be taken only on the advice of a doctor, because this drug, despite all its positive properties, has serious enough consequences associated with improper reception.

The drug is generally well tolerated, only in rare cases are side effects documented. From the gastrointestinal tract may occur such violations as pain in the epigastric region, heartburn, vomiting, nausea, ulcerative lesions of the mucosa of the digestive tract.

The use of acetylsalicylic acid is fraught with the development of nasal bleeding, hemorrhage of the gastrointestinal tract. Patients with hypertension may develop cerebral hemorrhage.

Bleeding can lead to iron deficiency anemia (acute or chronic). The pathological condition is usually detected in the course of laboratory blood tests. Characteristic signs are: pallor of the skin, weakness, dizziness, asthenia.

With hypersensitivity or intolerance to acetylsalicylic acid, an allergic reaction may occur in the form of urticaria, redness of the skin, itching, swelling. Severe allergic reactions - anaphylactic shock, bronchospasm, Quincke's edema - are extremely rare.

Overdose

If you follow the recommendations for taking the medicine, an overdose is unlikely. If the taken dose significantly exceeds the measure, symptoms such as tinnitus, nausea, dizziness, vomiting, confusion may appear. In the elderly, an overdose of aspirin is fraught with serious consequences.

If symptoms of an overdose occur, the patient should be hospitalized. In the hospital mode, emergency therapy will be carried out: restoration of water-electrolyte balance, forced alkaline diuresis, gastric lavage.

Than to replace a preparation?

If necessary, you can replace the drug "Trombo ACC". Analogues, the price of which slightly differs from the cost of the original means, have their own peculiarities of application. Therefore, without consulting a doctor, it is not recommended to replace a medicine. The following medicines have a similar composition and therapeutic effect:

  1. "Aspirin Cardio."
  2. "Aspekard".
  3. "Cardiomagnet".
  4. "Losirin".
  5. "Magnikor".
  6. Anopyrine.
  7. "Polokard".
  8. Combi-Ask.

Many patients believe that the drug can be replaced with conventional aspirin. Actually this is not true. "Trombo ACC" (the price per package is about 60 rubles) does not have such a destructive effect on the mucous membrane of the stomach and intestines, like tablets of conventional aspirin. The special protective shell significantly reduces the irritating effect of acetylsalicylic acid.

Patient Reviews

The drug "Trombo ACC" earned a lot of positive feedback from patients who took it for the treatment or prevention of cardiovascular disorders. Tablets can be taken for a long time without harm to the gastrointestinal tract. The scheme of admission, appointed by a specialist, is not recommended to violate. There are very few reports of side effects.
