This is only one option of how to salt salmon. There are also such ways, thanks to which the salting itself is greatly reduced in time. So, how to salt salmon at home while accelerating this process.

You need one freshly frozen pink salmon, one tablespoon of sugar, two tablespoons of large salt, half a lemon and eight olives. In addition to these ingredients, you need pepper ground red and black, mustard seed, paprika, dried herbs and the same garlic. All these spices are taken exclusively at your discretion, depending on tastes and preferences, but not more than ten grams in total.

Now directly on how to salt salmon. Clean the fish from the insides and scales. Separate fins and head from it. Sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and salt, and quite abundantly. Mix all the spices beforehand and chop them with fish. At the moment, use only half the mixture of spices.

Put the salted pink salmon in a bowl, and sprinkle it with the rest of the seasoning. Cover and refrigerate for twelve hours.

It's time to open one small secret. If you want your fish not to break up and have a beautiful shape, then before packing it in a bowl, wrap the pink salmon with cotton cloth: it will absorb all the excess liquid.

Serving salted salmon at home, slice it in portions, decorate with lemon slices, olives and onion rings. All this only further underscores the impeccable taste of fish.

You will not believe, but there is one more option of how to salt salmon in just two hours. This recipe, we now specifically sound for those who do not have much patience and can not wait for several hours, and even days.

Consider the way how to salt salmon in the brine. By the way, this option is suitable for herring, and for mackerel. But, unlike pink salmon, these fish do not need to remove the skin and remove small bones.

However, let's return to our fish. Slightly defrosted pink salmon fillet, which then cut into pieces not more than half a centimeter thick. Prepare the brine from one glass of water, four tablespoons of salt and the same amount of sugar. Dip into it the prepared pieces of fish and leave them there for two hours. At the end of this time, you can safely enjoy the insanely delicious pink salmon salted in such a short time with your own hands.
