• Balloon of the size you need;
• Thread;
• Adhesive in a plastic bottle (clerical, PVA, paste based on starch);
• Vaseline or any fat cream;
• scissors;
• A long needle or an awl.

Instruction for manufacturing

In order to make a ball of threads and glue, we perform the following actions.

1. Inflate the balloon to the correct size and tighten it tightly. It is desirable to stick the tail with adhesive tape to the ball, so that it does not interfere with the winding of the thread.
2. Spread the ball with petroleum jelly or glue. The meaning of this procedure is that in the future, after drying, the rubber ball easily separated from the ball of threads.
3. In the bottle with glue, use a needle or an awl to make a through hole. It is important that it is a bit wider in diameter than the thickness of the thread, which will be wrapped around the ball. If the hole is made narrow, the thread will pass with difficulty, the glue from it will self-clean and remain in the bottle. The thread will remain almost dry and will not stick to the ball.
4. Insert the tip of the thread into the needle and push it through the holes in the bottle with glue. The needle is removed, and the thread moistened with glue begins to wind around the ball. It should be ensured that the thread is well lubricated with glue. Balls made of threads are made according to the principle of coiling of the coil - evenly over the whole surface of the balloon. Do not feel sorry for the glue and thread. If you reel a little, then the cobweb can later not keep its shape and break. After the sufficient amount of thread is wound, it should be cut off, and the tip should be glued to the base of the ball.
5. Suspend the ball for drying. You can not rush to blow off the balloon. The product should dry thoroughly. This may take several days.
6. After the ball of thread has dried well and became firm, it is necessary to blow off carefully the balloon. To do this, gently prick it with a needle. If the rubber in some places is stuck to the threads, then it can be peeled off using a pencil with an eraser on the tip. Do this procedure with careful movements to avoid damaging the product. When the balloon is lowered and completely peeled off, you need to pull it out. During these manipulations, strands can move in the place where the ball is stretched. Then they should just be moved to their place.
7. Decorate the ball to your liking.
