Tomas Rositsky - the story of Little Mozart

Tomas Rosicky, one of the future leaders of the Czech national team and the star of the London Arsenal, was born in October 1980 in Prague. Little Mozart, as later dubbed by his sharp-tongued fans and journalists, became one of a whole galaxy of bright Czech players of the early 21st century.

Children's career

When the boy was 6 years old, his father took him to the football school of the club "CKD". In this school Tomas Rosicky comprehended the basics of football art for a very short time: after the first game he, along with his brother, Jiří wished to see Sparta from Prague among her students.

Since then, Tomas Rosicky started climbing through all the age groups of the Prague "Sparta", and in April 1999, the midfielder made his debut in the match of the Cup of the Czech Republic against the outsider "Boda". The debut was a success, and the young midfielder began to appear regularly on the field, go on as a substitute, and in the next season, and did win a place in the first team.

The beginning of an adult career

September 2000 was marked not only by the first goal scored in the Czech Republic, but also by the debut in the Champions League, in which Tomáš also managed to open an account scored goals.

The player's success did not go unnoticed by the coaching staff of the Czech national team, which Rosický Tomáš very much liked. Midfielder in the summer of 2000 took part in two matches of his team at the European Championships, but neither he nor the Czech team achieved any special success, limiting participation only in the group stage.

After Euro 2000, the player moved to Borussia from Dortmund, becoming one of the leaders of the team, which is not at all the last roles in the Bundesliga. In 2001 Tomas Rosicky became the champion of Germany, and also the finalist of the UEFA Cup.

In the next season, thanks in large part to financial problems, Borussia went deeper into the bottom of the standings and had to sell Little Mozart to the London Arsenal in order to improve their position.

Heyday in the "Arsenal"

In the "Gunners" midfielder did not have to confirm his high qualification for a long time. However, in January 2008, Tomáš Rosický suffered a serious knee injury, due to which he had to miss almost two seasons.

In the first official game of "Arsenal" the player showed that the club did not for good reason hope for his return, giving a scoring pass and scoring the ball into the goal of "Manchester City".

In March 2012, the management of the "Gunners" concluded with the midfielder another five-year contract, the conditions of which remained secret even for all-knowing English journalists.
