Stages of career

As a football player, Evgeni Lovchev (photo below) acted as part of three teams of the USSR championship. On the football field, he played 290 matches, in which he scored 43 goals.

  • 1969-78 - Spartak (Moscow);
  • 1979-80 - "Dynamo" (Moscow);
  • 1980 - "Wings of the Soviets" (Kuibyshev).

In the national team of the USSR (1969-1977) he played 52 games, scored 1 goal. Participated in the World Championships in Mexico (1970). In 1972-1975 he was a member of the USSR Olympic team. The participant and the owner of bronze awards at the Olympiad in Munich (1972).

Carier start

Football Evgeny Lovchev began to engage in the children's team "Burevestnik" under the guidance of coach Ivan Alexandrovich Kochetkov. After the closing of the club, I spoke at the youth team "Youth" at the trainer Leonid Marakuev. It was the first real team of a young football player. "Youth" performed in the competition for the championship of Moscow, where the children's teams "CSKA", "Dynamo", "Spartacus" and other strong teams participated.

In 1965, Evgeny Lovchev - football player of the RSFSR. The first serious tournament, in which the 16-year-old took part, was the "Cup of Youth". He played with the participation of national teams representing the former republics of the Soviet Union.

Further, Eugene spoke in the newly created experimental USSR national team, which belongs to the "Burevestnik" society. The young team was led by Vsevolod Blinkov. Here Lovchev received his first salary: 160 full-weight Soviet rubles. The team played in various tournaments, making trips to Indonesia, Burma, Italy. But this did not concern Eugene. He, working at a numbered plant, was not allowed to leave. For him, the most memorable was the Moscow match against the Brazilian national team, held at the Dynamo.

Career in "Spartacus"

Burevestnik had a sports doctor Nikolai Alekseev, who maintains close relations with Nikita Simonyan, senior coach of Spartak. Thanks to his recommendations, Evgeni Lovchev in 1969 becomes a football player of the Moscow club. The composition then was "Spartacus" star: Anzor Kavazashvili, Gennady Logofet, Nikolai Osyanin, Galimzyan Khusainov, Victor Papaev. Lovchev took the position of the left-back of the team.

This year was one of the most successful in a short career player. "Spartacus" wins the USSR championship, and Lovchev receives a challenge to the main team of the country.

In 1971 he became the owner of the Cup of the country, the next year - the best footballer of the championship of the Soviet Union. In the meantime, the business of the "Spartacus" is getting worse and worse. The team begins to fall in the championship, with each year occupying an increasingly lower place. The club is leaving Nikita Simonyan. It is replaced by Nikolay Gulyaev. But this does not save the situation. By results of the autumn championship of 1976 the team takes the penultimate place and goes to the first league.

The club is a cardinal reorganization. Once again, the coaching staff changes. In place of the head coach is appointed Konstantin Beskov, and the team comes with a dozen young players who later made famous the Moscow club, which made him the best team of the USSR. The new "Spartacus" was joined by: Oleg Romantsev, Sergei Shavlo, Alexander Sorokin, Georgy Yartsev, Alexander Samokhin, Rinat Dasayev.

The team from the first attempt returned to the big leagues, acquired its unique manner of play (Spartak spirit), but in this team there was less and less room for Yevgeny Lovchev. Beskov made it clear that he does not see Eugene as a member of the club and does not count on him as the main player of the team. At the same time, Lovchev was a football player (captain) of the country's Olympic team, was involved in the national team, was in the optimal sports uniform and in the prime of life. Most likely, the player and the coach did not agree with the characters.

Leaving Spartak

In 1978, Evgeni Lovchev decided to change the club. Despite the proposal from the Leningrad "Zenith", he moves to the Moscow "Dynamo". Here the football player did not work out. After playing for the Dynamo one season, he accepts the offer from the team "Wings of the Soviets" - the club of the first league of the USSR championship. At the position of midfielder Eugene had 21 matches as part of the Kuibyshev team, scoring 15 goals. This concludes the impetuous and contradictory career of one of the best, but not the most popular football player, Evgeny Lovchev. He finished performances in 1980 at the age of 31 years.

It so happened that Eugene won all his prizes in the "Spartacus". He was the owner of gold, silver and bronze medals of the championship, the USSR Cup winner, the best player of the year, seven times included in the list of "33 best football players of the USSR".

As a coach, Lovchev worked in the teams: "Wings of the Soviets" (Kuibyshev), Metallurg (Zlatoust), Lokomotiv (Chelyabinsk), Druzhba (Maykop). But he accomplished the greatest coaching career in mini-football. From 1999 to 2008, Evgeny Lovchev served as president and head coach of Moscow's Spartak.

Currently, Lovchev is a regular columnist for the newspaper Sovetsky Sport, a football expert on various sports channels, a host of the Lovchev Team, a participant in Sunday programs on Mayak radio.

In conclusion, we note that recently the former football player married for the fourth time. With my first wife Tatyana Lovchev lived 20 years. In marriage, the son Andrei was born (former player of the national team of Kazakhstan) and daughter Ekaterina. From the third marriage, his son Nicholas was born.

Here is the heartthrob in his venerable age, Evgeni Lovchev. The wife, like the two previous ones, is much younger.
