To understand how to collect a manual meat grinder, let's figure out what parts it consists of. This is important in order to then not be confused.

So, the whole device is a metal frame (pipe, casing) and a whole set of parts of different sizes.

At the top there is a receiving tray, into which we load all products for processing. From the tray, our semi-finished product enters the pipe where the auger is located on the shaft (for convenience we will simply call it an auger), it serves meat to the knives, and they grind it into mincemeat. Further through the small holes in the grill (it is held in place by the disk), the minced mince falls into a bowl.

For the process to go, you need to manually twist the auger. We do this with a handle located behind.

Collecting the shaft

It is better to start assembling by placing the details on the working surface of the table, so it will be more convenient. Only when we completely assemble it, it will be possible to fasten it to the table top.

To begin with, you need to insert the auger into the grinder housing. Casing (recall) - this is the largest part of the meat grinder, which is attached to the table top. We insert the auger into it from the front into the large hole. In this case, the shaft should be passed through a narrow hole on the other side of the casing. We insert knives and a lattice

Although it's quite easy to assemble a meat grinder, there are a number of points here that you need to know about, so that the mechanism works properly, and the meat is frying quickly and without unnecessary effort.

On the wide edge of the screw in the wide hole of the pipe you need to put the knives (they are connected together and represent a single whole system). Here you should be very careful: if you plant the blades incorrectly, our mechanism will work, but its productivity will be zero. He is very poor and will grind for a long time mincemeat and clog all the time. Therefore, it is important to know how to collect a manual meat grinder, the main thing is to insert the knives correctly. See the photo below: the knife should fit snugly against the grate, therefore, it should look outwards with a flat side.

As you can see, inside the casing should be the side on which there is no kind of strip (round and smooth), and to the grid - with a strip.

Now it remains to put the grate. There are several of them, and the size of the cell will depend on how small we bold the meat. The larger the cell, the larger the pieces.

Please note: there is a groove on the grate - it should get into the ledge on the casing. If this is not done, you can spoil not only minced meat, but also the grate, and even the mechanism. The protrusion will fall off from the effort, and the lattice will not loosely adhere to the knives. And this will entail a poor performance mechanism.

If everything is done correctly, the grille will fit very tightly to the casing and not protrude outwards.

It remains only to screw the disc. It must be screwed to the stop. Correctly assembled, this part should look like this.

We screw the handle

To complete the assembly of the meat grinder, it is necessary to screw the handle. It is fixed with a special bolt, for which there is a thread from the back (narrow) side of the casing. Screw the screw until it stops.

In some models, special plastic gaskets are used for compaction. They need to be inserted from the outside into the narrow hole before tightening the bolt. But be careful: in some models they are just inside.

Checking for correct assembly and installation

To check the correctness of the assembly, first you need to install our mechanism on the countertop. For this, there is a special device from below: a square metal plate or special legs for the stop and a screw from below.
