VAZ "five", "six" and "seven" have a similar design of the chassis, so the instructions for installing and replacing this part fit all of the above models. So, let's get to work. First of all, we put the car on the pit and remove the cardan shaft, and also dismantle the crosspiece (by using a key on the 27 we unscrew the bolt). It is worth remembering that the nut should not be completely removed - you need to leave some space on the thread for further pressing out the plug.

And now we need a stripper. In general, it can be of different designs - when choosing, be sure to ask the seller about which model of the car it is designed for. With this tool, press the propshaft fork. It is possible that this part can get stuck and not stick out. For this we use a hammer. Strongly there is no need to knock, otherwise the picker will be damaged, and the plug. Then we extrude the necessary part and remove the support plate. As a rule, manufacturers lubricate it in advance, but this is not enough. In order to ensure the machine the normal rotation of the propeller shaft, it is necessary to gently pry the bearing cover (wall) with an awl and process it. Everything, now a new part is ready for installation. By the way, if you notice that this part is scrolled with hooks, it is better to change it to another, since such a part is either defective or forged.
