Higher Vocational Education: State Standard

Modern higher professional education in our country is organized in accordance with the Federal Law "On Higher and Post-Graduate Professional Education". In accordance with article 4 of this law, the structure of the system of higher professional education is an aggregate of "federal state educational standards for higher professional education".

In turn , the state educational standard of higher professional education is a system of requirements for the quality of higher professional education in the country by the state and society as a whole.

This means that the highest professional education , obtained in any of the existing higher educational institutions of our country, must meet the same criteria. In other words, graduates of various technical universities should master the same programs and confirm the quality of the knowledge obtained in the same ways. At the same time, when checking their knowledge, the requirements for students should be the same, regardless of whether they study at a university in the capital or in an educational institution located on the periphery.

You can get higher professional education when studying at a higher educational institution: institute, university, academy, or when passing special courses. But the current state educational standard of higher professional education allows you to get an appropriate education and when learning from the outside, in which the study of the program is carried out independently, and in the future, the qualification examinations at the higher educational institution are made.

Modern higher professional education has several stages, the first of which is a "bachelor". This degree in our country denotes the availability of a complete basic higher education and is assigned after the qualification commission has been commissioned. The presence of a "bachelor" degree allows its holder to occupy positions on which people with higher education have the right to work, or continue their studies in a magistracy. The degree of "bachelor" can be obtained only after graduation. Technical schools, colleges or schools to assign this degree to a graduate are not allowed. A bachelor's degree is awarded after four years of study.

Qualification "graduate" is awarded to the student of the graduate of a special course of study and defense of a thesis project or thesis work before a special attestation commission. The training period in this case is a period of not less than five years. In medical universities it is not less than six years. At the same time, the qualification of an engineer, teacher, doctor, etc. is assigned.

When training in medical institutions to obtain a doctor's qualification, the completion of the internship is a prerequisite. In accordance with the current standards of higher education in the coming years, the qualification "graduate" will cease to exist.

The degree of "master" is awarded to students after completing a master's degree course, which is the next stage of a higher professional education for a bachelor, which allows you to deepen your knowledge in the chosen professional direction.

The standards of higher professional education impose unified requirements not only on the quality of education, but also on the educational space in general. It is a question of that in any point of the country the student of a higher educational institution should have an opportunity to study in equal conditions, and each educational institution should periodically confirm its right to conduct the educational process. At the same time, the evaluation of the work of a higher educational institution should be conducted according to the same criteria established for all higher educational institutions in our country
