Hardening with cold water - a new quality of life

The word "hardening" is ambiguous. More often than not, a process is understood by it, which allows to give something greater firmness. And what is the tempering of the human body?

Medicine under tempering understands a system or a series of sanitary-hygienic measures aimed at strengthening immunity. Tempered organism is able to successfully resist any adverse climatic influences. The main thing in this process is gradualism and non-violence. You can start with contrasting douches or foot baths. The baths are made as follows: two basins of water are put in the bath. The greater the temperature difference in these pelvises, the better. Legs in turn are immersed, then into the cold, then into the hot water for about one minute. It is recommended to finish with warm water. After the procedure, dry your feet and put on socks.

Approximately the same way is carried out contrasting douche. It is very important to select the temperature of the water so that the body is comfortable.

Continuing hardening with cold water, you need to make sure that the water for pouring is a comfortable temperature. Lower it is possible only when the body gets used to this temperature, and do it very gradually.

As soon as daily dousing becomes familiar, the way of hardening can be changed. You can swim in a cool pool or natural pond, wipe with snow or take a bath with ice.

During the procedure, it is recommended that you carefully monitor that the body quickly warms up after its completion. If this does not happen, then after dousing it is necessary to dress warmly, drink hot tea.
