Fried calamari, a recipe in several variations

So, first you need to unfreeze the meat. To do this, put a pot of water on the fire, after boiling the liquid put the squid in a saucepan, and within two minutes to get it. The main thing is not to overexpose, otherwise the meat can just be spoiled, it will become too tough and rubbery.

Fried calamari, recipe with bacon

Preheat the frying pan, but do not pour oil on it. Slice 100 grams of bacon slices and put it to fry. Fry should be until the moment until all the fat disappears, and the bacon itself does not become a pleasant golden color. Remove it from the frying pan on the plate, and do not turn off the fire.

Peel six cloves of garlic, finely chopped and put in a frying pan. Fry for about half a minute, then add to it eight hundred grams of peeled and sliced squid. Salt, season and fry for three minutes, after which add bacon and do not remove from the fire for another two minutes. The dish is ready.

Five squid carcasses clean and cut into rings with a width of at least half a centimeter.

Batter. A glass of flour mixed with proteins from two eggs and salt, without stopping stirring, pour half a glass of any beer.

Now the cooking itself. Each ringlet is completely dipped in the batter, and then put it on the already heated frying pan with oil (no oils to spare). Fry on each side for three minutes, no more.

Grilled squid in batter should be removed from a frying pan, put on a paper towel or napkins, wait a little for the glass to oil. Can be served to the table.

Fried calamari, recipe with vegetables and soy sauce

A couple of grated carrots and one chopped onion to put in a frying pan, fry for three minutes, after adding to them half a kilogram of squids, previously peeled and cut into strips. Immediately put in the dish two tomatoes, chopped cubes (peel with them must be removed). Add and pepper, add your favorite seasonings, crumble a few twigs of parsley. And the last thing is to pour a tablespoon of soy sauce into the frying pan.

Fry for another seven minutes, no more. Finished shellfish spread out on plates and decorate with fresh herbs.

Fried calamari: recipe with red wine

Seven hundred grams of squid is peeled, cut into rings and drained with napkins.

Heat the frying pan with vegetable oil, put a finely chopped onion and a couple of grated garlic cloves into it, fry until the onion is soft. Put the squid in the same place, stew until they take a brown shade. Add to the squid half a kilogram of chopped tomatoes, salt, half a spoonful of sugar, a cinnamon stick, a little pepper, all pour half a glass of red wine. Cover and stew, but not for long. Once the squid becomes soft, immediately remove the frying pan from the fire. The sauce will end up thick.

Lay the squid on plates, top with a prepared wine sauce. It is recommended to serve a dish with croutons. You can just lightly sliced sliced pieces of white bread and serve along with fried squid.
