Therefore, first check the toothbrushes for buoyancy. This can be done by typing water in an ordinary bucket and throwing a brush there. If it does not sink, but stays on the surface, then it is the very thing. The work is done by a small grinder, reminiscent of a microbolt, with detachable nozzles. If we make a wobbler, then in front of the structure, we also cut an additional blade (it can be built from a plastic bottle cap, cutting out a small part). You can paint homemade wobbler with bright nail polish, borrowed from the wife. You can insert and additional weight for weighting. Spoon-bait on pike-perch from the broken tweezers

Fishing crafts are sometimes made of anything. But even at least from the broken tweezers. The tool is qualitative (it was once), made of good stainless steel. Than not a spoon-bait on a scallop. As you know, these predators have a rather small pharynx, and a spoon-bait is also not wide enough - just fit! So, from one leg of the tweezers cut off the desired length of the workpiece. Fishing trivia in summer

Much attention should be given to the conservation of the catch, since in the heat the fish can very quickly deteriorate. And the catch caught in the morning, without proper preservation (and in the field, rarely anyone has a freezer - unless some motorists) may simply not live until evening.

How to save the caught

1. After digging and pulling the fish ashore neatly, not experienced by the insides, release it from the hook (otherwise it will quickly die out). It is not necessary to throw also strongly injured fish in a bucket with the rest caught - it can spoil all the catch in a few hours in the heat. Wounded prey is best to kill, take out the gills and gut. Next - wrap in fresh grass (the best option - nettle) and store in the shade, preferably where there is a cool and breeze.
2. Gutted and gullet-free fish can also be added before storing.

Live storage

If you intend to bring home a living prey, you need to store it in water, in a cage or on a chicken (well suited for the underwater sea hunt, for example). A cage should be with a fairly wide rings, the grid - not metal, and cloth. O metal when trying to escape the fish will be severely injured. Hang it, drowning in the water, you need in the shade. So that the fish can safely swim and not fight against each other. In a close cage, the risk of self-poisoning of the catch by metabolic products is also great.

Self-made pitches

But a cage for storing the catch in the summer, long enough and wide (and importantly - folding) can be done on its own. To do this, we will need a strong steel wire or ready-made rings from it. If you need a compact device, we take three rings of downward dimensions. The middle is in the middle, the small one at the top. Still need kapron mesh (which used for windows from mosquitoes to ubiquitous insertion of metal-plastic). From the net we sew a sock to the size of the rings. We put on and sew firmly to the rings stitches. We follow that the tank turned out to be even and neat. That the fish does not jump out of the tank, you also need a lid. It can be made from yet another ring of wire with a net stretched over it. Little tricks for the fisherman: our homemade cage is fixed with a strong kapron rope, which must be tied to the structure by the knot, so that it does not float away with the catch, for example. And to make a homemade cage not flooded, if you catch it at great depth, you can put a rescue ring on top of it, as in the photo. Please note that the pond is easy to fold and transport when walking to the fishing spot on foot.

Sensitive float

We'll make a fishing tackle with our own hands. Of course, in the store or in the market, a lot of floats of different colors and sizes are offered attention. But the choice is good and good money. And if you are an amateur fishing for float fishing rods, you need to buy a dozen floats. And many fishermen prefer to do the floats with their own hands in the old manner. Very good these tackles are obtained from goose feathers. Where there is a lake or a pond, a river - these birds must be grazed. And sometimes they lose their feathers. So it only remains to bend down and pick up. You can make large floats for large fish and small (depending on the size of the pen). Crop all unnecessary, leaving only the basis of the pen. It turns out such a thin stick, light and strong enough. We measure the size of the product. Cut off the unnecessary from the upper side (from the bottom in the place where the feather was attached to the skin of the bird, the design must have a primordial appearance, the opposite will lead to the wetting of the float). It is convenient to produce works with a sharp clerical knife. In principle, the main part is completed. The float is colored in bright colors to be seen on the water. The easiest way to do this is to make nail polish, which happens to be different, bright enough colors. In addition, the varnish is water resistant. To the trimmed part of the float we attach the fastener, where the line will be cut. You can go fishing. But before that - two or three little tricks for successful fishing.

How to balance the float at home

Often, upon arrival on fishing, catching float fishing rods is hampered by a poor balancing of floats (they carry away the current or they lie down for no apparent reason). And on the spot, especially in rainy or windy weather, I do not want to do this, but I must. Therefore, the most correct decision is to balance the floats in advance at home. You can do this by typing a full bath of water and uncovering your gear. So, we bind the float to the line (or attach it to the mount) and begin the process of selecting the weights. The float should not lift the sinker from the bottom. But the cargo should not be too heavy, since small bites will not be seen. We find the golden mean by experience (a too heavy lead weights are well cut with metal scissors, and if too small - we add another piece of lead). The float in the bathroom should stand clearly, almost vertically, without lifting the sinker from the bottom, but also without lying on its side. Now your fishing crafts are well balanced and do not have to do it in nature. This is especially important in adverse weather conditions.

Fishing jackets: a tube for storing floats

For float fishing rods, removable floats are one of the most important parts of the tackle. However, some of them are quite fragile and can break down when the fisherman moves from place to place. In order for this not to happen, we will make a tube for storing the floats with our own hands. We take the basis of the food film. The tube is very strong. Even if you accidentally step on it, it will not break, like plastic, and your floats will be intact. It is also necessary and a piece of loose foam plastic about 2 cm thick. Two plugs must be cut out of it. We make a print of the reel from under the film on the foam, cut out with a stationery knife. One plug must fit tightly into the tube opening. To do this, you can glue it, or use a double-sided adhesive tape. The second - serves as a lid. As a handle for convenient removal we use a stuck clip. Floats from the inside are fixed with keels in the foam, fixing well. And the lid on the other side is closed. And in order that the cardboard is not damped, for example, in the rain, you need to wrap the structure around the circumference of the tape with an additional.
