Fishing. Bombardment

Among the many fishing gear, there are such, which all anglers heard, many even held, but they are rarely used on fishing. For example, bombardment - rigging is well known, effective, but for some reason not gained popularity among spinners.

More often the bombard is used in combination with the most common bait, but its use with fly-flies in combination with very light tackle is especially effective.

The design is quite simple: put the bombard on the main line, then the stopper, swivel, attach the leash to it, which ends with the front sight. Despite the simplicity of the method, the choice of each snap element has some features.

The main line can be a monolayer and a cord, which enhances and improves the control of the bait.

Now in the fishing stores are represented more than a dozen of the most diverse models of bombards of all sizes. All of them can be divided into groups according to buoyancy: floating, fast sinking and slowly sinking, and also suspenders.

The choice of the desired model depends on the depth at which fishing is conducted, and the presence of a current. In stagnant water, it is more expedient to use suspenders, and on the current - sinking. It should be borne in mind that the bombardment can distract the fish from the bait, so choosing it by weight, give preference to smaller models, but allows you to throw the snap on the distance you need.

Usually catching a bombardet involves a distance of 50-60 meters. Using powerful spinning, you can send a heavy bombard and at 100 meters, but at this distance it is impossible to control the bait.

Leash must be done long, its length should depend on the length of the rod. For example, with a rod length of 2.4 meters with certain skills, you can use a lead length of up to 1.5 meters. It can be from fluorocarbon, but it will fit monosleska, but only transparent. The thickness of the leash depends on what kind of flies you catch. If it is a large and heavy streamer, put it 0.2 mm, if it's very small, it's more than 0.16 mm.

Catching on the bombard is a fascinating and quite effective method, but you should know that when using it you need to consider all the details. It may seem strange, but flies are the main and most important element of the rigging. Everything is important here: both size and color. The unwritten rule "The more lure, the larger the fish," when catching a bombard is used, does not work.

Some anglers do not like the products bought in the store. But we believe that the bombard is made by oneself only when there is no necessary assortment in the store. In other cases it is not advisable to use self-made bombardments. Those who are forced to take such a step, usually use wine corks and lead weighting agent, whose weight is difficult to calculate independently.

The use of flies in combination with a bombard makes it possible to catch different fish, even predatory ones. Flies that mimic insects, very much liked pike perch and bersh.
