Excellent delicacy - boiled condensed milk

Since childhood we remember the sweet, unique taste of condensed milk. In Soviet times, it was a deficit and the first baby treat. Condensed milk is added to cakes, sweets, sweet rolls and eclairs, as well as many other sweets, and most often used boiled condensed milk. You can buy it already ready in stores or cook at home yourself. Tear off the label from the jar with condensed milk , put it in a pot of water and cook for three or four hours. Monitor the cooking process. If you digest condensed milk, then the bank can explode, and you have to remove it from the walls and ceiling in the kitchen.

Let's find out if the boiled or usual condensed milk is more useful, the calorie content of which is 330 kcal per 100 g of product. During cooking, does this product become more or less caloric? If to speak about fat content, then for any condensed milk this figure is equal to eight and a half percent.

The level of glucose during the cooking process does not increase, so the boiled condensed milk, just like the usual, has the same amount of sugar in the composition. The only difference is that after cooking, glucose is in the form of caramel, and not sugar, as is the case with ordinary condensed milk.

In cooked delicacy, the amount of vitamins is reduced by half, and its digestibility is much worse, since useful substances such as casein, lactose, vitamins A and D, which help the assimilation of the product, are not preserved during cooking.

Since cans for condensed milk are usually made of iron, covered with a thin layer of tin, then during cooking this material can heat up and penetrate into the condensed milk. So that you do not get poisoned by harmful substances, it is best to boil the condensed milk, after having transferred it from an iron can to a glass or porcelain container. It should be placed in a pan and cooked for the same three or four hours.

Boiled condensed milk is an excellent ingredient for lubricating cakes. And, if you mix it with nuts, it will turn out just yummy!

There are many recipes for cooking this sweetness at home. Although the brewing process is quite long, the result is excellent - delicious, beautiful home-made condensed milk will please both adults and children.

In our first recipe, the cooking process will take about an hour and a half, but you can cook for about an hour for the sample. You will need a copper pot or a saucepan with a thick bottom, where you need to pour two liters of milk and add vanilla. Separately, dissolve a teaspoon of soda in a small amount of water and pour into boiling milk, adding a half-kilogram of sugar there. Cook our condensed milk on high heat for about an hour, while you should constantly stir the wooden spoon this yummy.

As the product thickens, you need to make a smaller fire. After about half an hour, when the color turns brown, it will look like a liquid honey, it can be turned off. After that, put the saucepan in a container with cold water and stir the condensed milk for five minutes.

Then we shift it into jars, cool it and put it in the fridge, where it thickens even more. It turns out very tasty.

There is another recipe for cooking. Take a liter of milk, mix with 1.5 glasses of sugar. Add a pinch of soda and cook over low heat until it thickens. The cooking time here will be from one and a half to three hours depending on the portion. The pan is suitable for non-enamelled, but with thick walls. It turns out very tasty boiled condensed milk.

If there is no time, but you want to cook this delicacy at home, use the recipe, in which only 15 minutes you can achieve what you want. Mix a glass of milk with 200 grams of powdered sugar and twenty grams of butter. Put a saucepan with this mixture on the fire and bring to a boil. The fire should be small. Always try to stir as often as possible, so that all the ingredients are dissolved.

At the moment of boiling, make the fire average and continue to cook for another ten minutes, stirring constantly. Then turn off the condensed milk. She's ready. When cooled, the product will thicken even more.
