E-sport is very similar to the usual for everyone, only the competitions take place on the playing field with the participation of computer technologies: all kinds of prefixes and personal computers. Each competition refers to a game (for example, the World of Tanks competition). If you believe many sources, the game is constantly playing half a percent of the country's population.

How it all began

To date, e-sports has begun to evolve rapidly. That this is not just a toy, you can understand the level of its relevance and popularity. Was it supposed to begin with something? Such a game as Quake only aroused in millions of people a passion for new sports. Immediate was the formation of the very first league of E-athletes. It happened in the USA in 1997.

It all started with the opening in Moscow of the computer club "Orcs" - the favorite place of the future elite. It was here that the first Russian E-sportsmen were born. They were gaining experience and fought among themselves. As a result, new e-sports teams, clans of players began to be formed. All this, of course, was only on a primitive level. The win in the first competitions of progamers was scanty and served only as a symbolic prize.

ESports in the CIS countries

Cybersport in Russia has its own organization, which is called the National Professional Cybersport League (NPCL). This organization arranges championships in 4 game center - the national gaming center.

To get to the tournament, you need to go through a long and difficult road to qualifying rounds. On the contest itself is only 12 teams. The format of the tournament predetermines 66 matches for the entire season (each team must play 11 matches). Only 4 of the strongest progamer teams go to the final, where the fate of the winners is decided in the playoffs. Efforts are worth it to get a jackpot of 100 thousand US dollars. But such competitions are held not only in Russia, but also in Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
