Elevators are ... Water jet elevator. Heater elevator

Elevators are devices that are necessary to lower the temperature of the coolant entering residential buildings. This device reduces the temperature of the water due to partial mixing with the cold liquid from the return line. At present, water-jet elevators are not at every CHP. Let's take a closer look at what kind of device it is, how it works and whether it makes sense to install it. Also consider other types of elevators. For example, those that are used in grain stores, etc.

General information

It's no secret that the incoming network coolant must comply with the norms. It is important to take into account the rigidity, acidity, pressure, and temperature. According to established standards, the water coming from the mains must not have a temperature above 95 degrees Celsius. What this is due, we will not consider, but the fact remains. However, not always these norms are observed. Often the temperature of the coolant in the mains reaches more than 130 degrees. To solve this problem, it is necessary to install elevators. This device will help lower the temperature of the water to normal. Moreover, this is one of the most effective means to control the flow of the coolant.

Water jet elevator

Before talking about the principle of operation, it is necessary to understand the device. Such an elevator consists of a metal casing in which there is a chamber for mixing the coolant, and a nozzle. The superheated liquid leaves directly from the nozzle and immediately enters the mixing chamber. Moreover, the whole process is carried out at extremely high speeds. Because of this, so-called injection occurs, which is the main cause of water suction from the return pipeline. Changes in the diameter of the nozzle allow you to adjust the flow rate of the coolant, as well as the outlet temperature. It can be said that the water-jet elevator acts as a circulating pump and a mixer. Interestingly, the device is completely non-volatile and operates at a differential pressure in the network in front of the elevator and in the device. By the way, the available head (differential pressure) should have a ratio of 7: 1 in relation to the resistance of the heating system.

Is such a device necessary?

In fact, it is rather difficult to answer this question. Today not everyone pays attention to the observance of norms. In addition, the quality of mains that supply water to residential buildings leave much to be desired. In most cases, not overheated water comes to us, but vice versa. Most likely, it is the fault of the CHPP, where the temperature regimes are not observed. However, for the effective management of the heating unit in the building, a heating elevator is needed. It will help if necessary to lower the temperature of the coolant to normal. In addition, this device does not need regular maintenance and calibration. All that is required is to choose the correct nozzle diameter and periodically inspect the unit for visible defects. If you need to change the performance, another, more economical, nozzle is installed. Nevertheless, the selection of the correct pipe diameters and nozzles for the unit should only be carried out in the design bureaus.

All about what bucket elevators are

The device is a vertical conveyor, which is used to move bulk, granular, lumpy and other materials in a strictly vertical position. You can say that among these transporters this is considered the most popular. First, its dimensions in the cross section are small, and secondly, there is a wide opportunity for adjusting the performance of the device. It is noteworthy that so-called norias have a closed housing, in which the cargo is located during the ascent. From this it follows that the material is protected from the effects of the environment and is in complete safety.

The design is extremely simple and includes a bootstrap - a loading station, a head - a drive station, and also there are no-shaft mines. The material can enter the loading station in several ways (by a ladle or gravity flow), then it enters the buckets, which move through the shafts to the top, from which the unloading takes place. Elevators bucket provide high reliability due to extremely simple design. In addition, the energy costs of such equipment are at a very low level and are unrivaled.

About cereals

It can safely be said that chain and belt elevators have found wide application in various industries. Today they are used practically at all grain factories. Such elevators are available in mills, bakeries, flour mills, etc. Of course, such rails are designed for heavy duty use, so the chance that the equipment will fail or fail is minimized. Along with a long period of operation, it was possible to achieve uniform transportation of grain and other products, which is extremely important in the grain industry. Usually the grain elevator is equipped with removable panels. It is necessary only for quick maintenance of equipment if necessary. In addition, a sectional assembly is used, which makes the installation fast and extremely accurate.

More about grain elevators

These ranks provide a very good level of performance. At the same time, the absence of complex and difficult-to-access units practically excludes long-term simple equipment in the event of failure of a particular element. In addition, modern noria equipped with a braking device, which completely eliminates the reverse move. Also installed and explosive. It will not be superfluous to say that the equipment may differ depending on the project. Sometimes, ruggedness and performance ratings are manufactured, the engine of which can run for a long time without rest. If the production requires it, the nori are installed, which can lift the load to a height of up to 175 meters with a bucket width of 16 to 200 centimeters. If the goods are light, then a special design is used, which makes transportation more economically profitable. In principle, such elevators are an advantageous and expedient solution.

Something else interesting

It often happens that it is not possible to use a belt elevator. If for transportation of granular materials of small and medium size it is an indispensable device, then with other cargoes there can be problems. In this case, it is advisable to use chain rails that are capable of operating under more severe conditions. For example, they are used to move hot loads, both granular and lumpy. Both in the belt and in the chain elevator, the bucket capacity can vary from 1 to 18 liters. At the same time, productivity varies in a wide range from 5 to 100 cubic meters per hour. As it was noted, in case of an emergency stop of the device, brakes are installed, which will leave the buckets in the position in which they are now. Of course, the elevator, the price of which is formed depending on the capacity and volume of the bucket, must be purchased only in trusted companies. For example, a noria with a capacity of 10 tons per hour will cost 100,000 rubles, but full-grain grain elevators will cost from 4 to 100 million rubles.

Conclusion

As you can see, elevators are devices necessary for vertical transportation of goods. But there are water-jet or heating appliances, which have nothing to do with chain, belt or bucket norias. Nevertheless, it is necessary to understand that vertical transport devices must be manufactured without deviations from norms and GOSTs, because any malfunction can lead to a fall of heavy cargo and injury or death of working personnel. At the same time, a waterjet elevator is needed to keep your radiators and heating system intact and safe.
