Let's see how it all began, and where, in fact, the name of the collective and the inclination to such shocking texts came from.

The year 1994 was the year of foundation of the group. Then the guitar leader of one of the German bands, Richard Cruspe, tried to combine the classical sound of hard rock with the style of industrial that was gaining momentum at that time. His followers were vocalist Till Lindemann, bassist Oliver Riedel, drummer Christophe Schneider, and a year after the founding - the second guitarist Paul Landers and keyboardist named Christian Lorenz.

In principle, the discography of Rammstein started from this. True, here history played a cruel joke on the band. The fact is that the band was originally called Rammstein Flugschau. This was the name of the air show held in Ramstein (by the way, the name is written with one letter "m"). But the collective, or intentionally, or accidentally, attributed one extra letter.

But this "surprises" are not over. At one of these events, a catastrophe occurred: three aircraft collided, resulting in about 80 deaths and more than 300 injured in varying degrees of severity. So, for example, Kruspe got a good school at Orgasm Death Gimmick, Lendeman is the ex-drummer of First Arsch, Riedel used to play in The Inchtabokatables, Schneider was a member of Die Firma, and the second guitarist Landers and keyboardist Lorenz came from Feeling B All of these teams had different directions in music, in all likelihood, this influenced the creation of such an interesting mix, which became Rammstein.

The album itself, according to the Metal Hammer magazine, was among the top 10 works in the industrial style (the 4th place on the list). Then came the new work of Rammstein.
