In order for the state, society and individual citizens to fully and comprehensively satisfy the needs for education, there is a federal law on additional educational services, according to which programs for vocational education have been established (decoding - additional vocational education).

Levels of DPO

Continuous professional development of any specialist, employee, worker is the system of state educational standards. The levels of vocational education may be different, therefore the programs are constantly improved and divided according to the volume of knowledge offered to learning, and they are independent of the subject matter. Depends on the additional vocational education from the tasks that the production need puts.

This can be skill development, where the programs are short-term and aim simply to expand knowledge in one of the areas of this specialty. These are various trainings and seminars. Professional retraining follows programs longer, which are aimed at deepening knowledge in a complex, albeit within the profession or line of business. Additional vocational education has deeply rooted in history.

History of DPO in Russia

As such, additional education appeared in the country in the thirties of the twentieth century and until the end of the nineties it developed as an advanced training within the boundaries of inter-branch institutions. Then for DPO the period of active development began. Now in Russia there are more than a thousand subdivisions, which annually train approximately four hundred thousand specialists of secondary and higher vocational education institutions, who receive an increase in their qualifications or a cardinal professional retraining.

Systems DPO

The interpretation of the abbreviation shows that the system does not provide a basic basic education, but its availability for retraining and further training is compulsory. That is why the leading universities in the country play the main role here, since such structural units have been created on their basis.

Prerequisites

Every specialist has ever experienced the inadequacy of his knowledge and skills, as the information inevitably becomes obsolete. For a successful career, certain courses of DPO are needed. Everyone must learn, without exception, starting from the workers and ending with the professorship. The base can be any: primary education, secondary or higher. The training center of the DPO will improve the professional knowledge of the listener, help improve the business qualities and even retrain it for a change in the field of activity, if necessary. Each specialist once every five years has the right to raise his qualification for free - rather, at the employer's expense. The rest of the DPO must be paid.

Recently, clients who receive DPOs have received basic education just now. It would seem that you can just work on the specialty - fresh knowledge. But now the choice of the profession of young people is often wrong. They learn not what predisposition is, not even what is claimed, but what is fashionable or available. As a result, almost no one wants to work on the specialty. There is only one way out - DPO. Such institutions are in demand today to an unhealthy state. For example, in Ekaterinburg there is a whole Academy of DPOs. But is it good for the country, if doctors, teachers, lawyers, engineers and journalists are all re-qualified as managers?

Types of DPO

Of course, if something gives a person a choice, then this is the DPO system. Deciphering their own wishes, however, does not always succeed the first time, but the time to retirement is, most importantly, to resolve the issue of money, and - welcome to another requalification. However, when discussing training or internship sarcasm is not appropriate, it is certainly an important and important activity.

Increase the qualifications of attending various seminars: short-term or long-term, thematic or problematic. Training can be both one-time and continuous, and discrete (step-by-step). Retraining involves mastering some subjects, modules, courses, with the passage of practice. Enough often additional education uses network forms of training, it all depends on the contract or educational program.

Training

This update of both practical and theoretical knowledge, plus the improvement of special skills, as professional requirements are steadily rising, and information is becoming obsolete. Only a graduate with a secondary or higher professional education can improve their qualifications.

Seminars are problematic or thematic with a volume of up to one hundred hours - these are trainings aimed at accelerated training to acquire the necessary skills. Seminars are held on technological, scientific, technical, socio-economic - all kinds of problems that arise at different levels: institutions or organizations, enterprises or associations, the region, the industry. Here, too, take exams and receive a certificate.

The most cardinal professional development is a long, up to five hundred hours. The document on this education is also more solid - a certificate of long-term professional development. The purpose of such programs is to deepen penetration into the current profile problems, update knowledge, as well as training specialists for other, more complex work activities on this profile. Such courses are necessary for people experienced, but with insufficient knowledge or practice. Such lessons are held as needed, sometimes with a full break from work, sometimes without separation or with a partial separation, and also there are individual forms of training at the applications of enterprises.

Internship

With the help of internships, that is, practices, professional knowledge, skills, and skills in the current or newly acquired profession are formed and consolidated. It is very convenient in this way to study best practices, acquire professional and managerial experience. The internship can go along with the theoretical part of continuing education or retraining, that is, seminars or lectures, and maybe even an independent type of additional education.

The employer who chooses the DPO program is in charge of the internship. The interpretation of the term "trainee" has a fairly wide range of interpretations. Participate in the internship can be a specialist with a solid work experience, and a fledgling graduate of primary, secondary and higher vocational education. It can take place both in the country and abroad. The main thing is that the enterprise is ready to accept the trainee and organize his workplace. Usually a fixed-term employment contract is concluded. At the end of the internship, the trainee prepares a written report on the practice and writes the performance appraisal.

Upgrading production systems

Engineers need to constantly upgrade their skills, because this profession in all areas requires accurate and up-to-date professional knowledge. Science develops constantly, new techniques, technical innovations, so engineers need to be perfected as often as possible. The level of qualifications should meet all modern requirements. Back in 2012, the President issued a decree on the long-term economic policy of the state, it clearly identifies the goals - the renewal of production systems.

Only qualified engineering personnel will solve the problem of labor productivity, and modern educational programs of DPOs will help to create such a contingent. The decree of the president is explained in the following decree: "Presidential program for the upgrading of engineering personnel for 2012-2014," that is, at that time continuous training of engineering personnel was begun through training and internship, as modernization of production requires.
