Day care - treatment without stress

The day hospital is a structural special department (division) of the hospital. Here diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitation measures are carried out for patients who do not need continuous (round-the-clock) observation of specialists. Thus, patients come to the day hospital, undergo the necessary procedures, and then return home.

The structure of the inpatient department includes patients 'wards, a lookout room, a dressing room, a treatment room, an operating room, a nursing office, and doctors' offices. In addition (depending on the direction of the department), it can accommodate a chemotherapeutic or massage room. Many hospitals have a "one day hospital". Here, emergency (emergency) help is provided to improve well-being, necessary measures are taken to fully and quickly diagnose, and some emergency surgeries are carried out.

As you know, most of the emerging diseases are much faster and more efficiently treatable in a well-equipped hospital than at home. This is why a day hospital is considered a necessary and important structural unit in a hospital. Unfortunately, not always state medical institutions have high-quality and new medical equipment, and the conditions of stay in them, in most cases, are not very comfortable.

However, today many private clinics create day-based inpatient departments on the basis of their base, in the conditions of which patients receive timely and qualified help. Moreover, in such departments all conditions for care of bed patients are created, people with various diseases, including neurological diseases, can find help in them. The equipment of modern (diagnostic, laboratory and medical) medical equipment makes it possible to diagnose patient diseases in a short time and with great accuracy, to perform various (including complex) analyzes.

A day hospital is especially effective for pregnant women. Here all the necessary diagnostic and supportive measures are carried out for expectant mothers. As a rule, a day hospital is cheaper than usual, since only the treatment is paid directly, and the means for staying in the ward are saved. The undoubted advantage of such departments is the reduction of the risk of infection with the "nosocomial" infection. Of course, the work of a day hospital is aimed at improving the quality of necessary medical care. Therefore, the recommended length of stay for patients in it is at least six to eight hours a day. At the same time, complete medical and diagnostic help is provided. A day hospital presumes, in contrast to "one-day hospitals", longer observation or treatment. At the same time, his task is to develop an accurate and maximally effective strategy of helping each patient, excluding unnecessary appointments. This is especially important during pregnancy. After all, from the correctly rendered help depends not only the correctness of the course of pregnancy, but in some cases the life of the future mother and child.

In many cases, a doctor who monitors and treats a patient prescribes a special diet. Therefore, often an important condition for providing comfortable conditions is the organization of meals in the hospital. The daily routine control over a food of patients is carried out by the regular doctor-dietician.

As you know, human life is always risky. You can get sick or get damaged suddenly, and some of the usual "mild" symptoms can cause serious diseases. Therefore, much attention should be paid to the choice of a medical institution. And most importantly, what should be remembered is that in many cases timely prevention prevents the need for treatment. Therefore, the diagnosis of your body is a manifestation of caring for yourself.
