Crane ball coupling - why exactly?

Such a tap is the optimal choice for those piping systems that have a small diameter. The raw material, from which the brass ball brass clutch is made, is, as its name implies, brass. It is the most safe material used in pipeline systems. The nut, which is located under the handle, regulates the seal of the stuffing box. In the crane itself are seals made of Teflon, which are mobile elements with respect to the crane rod. If leakage occurs, simply tighten it (this will press the seal ring, and the normal operation of the crane will be restored). If the diameter of the crane is small, then it usually uses a butterfly gate. Opening the crane in this case does not require significant effort, and the design itself will look neat and compact. Also they are good for those cranes that are close to each other.

A long handle is suitable for a crane of any diameter, however, with their close arrangement, such a handle can interfere.

The valve stem and ball are made of brass, as is the case. The design works faultlessly at a pressure of 1.6 MPa.
