Very often I want to cook something very unusual for a garnish. But traditionally the choice falls on potatoes, pasta or rice. But these products can also be cooked very original and delicious. Let's talk about how to cook rice with vegetables. At once I will say that there are a lot of cooking options. There is room for creativity. You can take a variety of vegetables and spices and add them to the main ingredient. But still some proven recipes should be taken as a basis.

First, we prepare rice with vegetables in the simplest way. Rice should be sorted by removing substandard grains. Then wash and cook. Add salt and cook until the moisture evaporates or the rice is finally ready. It all depends on which cooking method you prefer. If the first option, then we take one serving of rice and two servings of water. In the second case, liquids can be taken at their own discretion. In my opinion, the first option is preferable. Naturally, it is necessary to take into account that rice will increase almost twice. This is more a reminder of the young and inexperienced mistresses.

Meanwhile, we cut the onion and fry it to a clear color. Then you need to cut a piece of carrot and add it to the onion. We chop the sweet peppers into random pieces and also pour them into a frying pan. Tomatoes must be cut into cubes and added to the rest of the vegetables. If you do not like, when there is a peel of tomato in the dish, then just blanch them. For this, we make a cruciform incision of the skin and lower it into boiling water for 1-2 minutes. Then we transfer them into cold water and easily remove the skin. We add roasted vegetables to cooked rice. All very well mixed and stewed for about five minutes. Then you can add finely chopped garlic and greens and serve to the table.

Vegetables for cooking this dish can be added any. Very tasty rice with mushrooms is obtained . For this, champignons are cut and fried in a pan. We connect them with boiled rice and stew for a while. This can be served not only as a side dish, but also as a separate dish.

If you use more ingredients and spices, you will get a very fragrant rice with vegetables. We take rice, wash it and dry it. Then put a pot of water on the fire and let the water boil. We put rice into it and do not forget to salt it. We cook until ready. Green peas and boil. Tomatoes are peeled and cut into small cubes. Potatoes must be cleaned and cut into cubes. We cultivate saffron with a small amount of milk.

We take a skillet and fry on it coriander, ginger, turmeric, using a little vegetable oil. In a minute we add potatoes and fry until a crust is formed. After that, we pour out peas, tomatoes and sliced greens. All the ingredients are salted. Simmer for a while under the lid until the vegetables are soft. You can add some liquid.

To boiled rice, add milk with saffron and a little yogurt. All mix. Now take the form for baking and lay half the rice on the bottom. Then we put vegetables on top. Next is the remaining rice. We close rice with vegetables with foil and put in the oven for 20 minutes.

When serving on the table cut into pieces and spread with a spatula. Sprinkle with herbs.

Rice with vegetables is very popular in eastern countries. Here is a simple recipe for this dish. We take the rice and boil it until it is ready. Vegetables (you can take any) cut and fry in a pan.
