On the Kondoma, sometimes there are rapids with large boulders, for example, at the Strelna Stone. In winter, the river is completely covered with ice, which lasts about 160 days. The recreation center "Green Meadow" is located on the shore of such a water object as the river Kondoma (Kemerovo region). It is located at a distance of 7 km from the city of Kaltan. Kondoma is a river, which is known for the fact that in the 40s of the last century gold was discovered here and a kind of "golden fever" began. The reserves were not large, but their production was very active. The extracted gold replenished the reserves of the whole Union.
