Coat of arms and flag of Ingushetia

After the collapse of the USSR, on the northern slopes of the Caucasus, a constituent entity of the Russian Federation appeared under the name of the Republic of Ingushetia with a territory of 19,300 square kilometers. Km. It has a common border with three republics: Chechen, North Ossetian and Kabardino-Balkarian. Since that time many years have passed, with the appearance of the flag of Ingushetia and the coat of arms.

Birthday of the Republic

If you look at the geographical map of this region, you can see that the new republic is located in the central part of the foothills, is divided into four administrative regions and the same number of cities that have the status of republican subordination.

The birthday of the Republic of Ingushetia is June 4, 1992. It is characteristic that only after three years from this date began to build the capital of Magas, more precisely, its revival. Once, for about seven centuries, the city was already in this place. In those distant times, the mountaineers of all nationalities inhabiting the North Caucasus considered Magas their capital. The name of the administrative center of Ingushetia, translated from the Vainakh language, sounds like "the city of the sun". Little is known about this, and not everyone can answer what the flag of the Republic of Ingushetia looks like.

Coat of Arms of the Republic of Ingushetia

The term "Ingush" came into Russian in the 18th century. The area where these highlanders lived was derived from Angusht (a village in the North Caucasus) and the suffix -eti, which is of Georgian origin. Among themselves, the Ingush call themselves nothing but Gialgiai. This inscription is contained in the image of the emblem of the republic. According to one version, the word should be interpreted as a "builder", on the other - in ancient times pagan Vainakhs worshiped the deity of Gela.

The coat of arms of the Republic of Ingushetia consists of two circles enclosed in each other. In the inner circle there is an image of an eagle, which completely spread its wings in different directions. In the background, behind the back of the eagle, you can see the battle tower. The imaginary vertical line passes through its center. The construction is a kind of historical bridge between ancient Ingushetia and the modern young republic.

From both sides of the tower you can see the snow-white silhouettes of the mountains, whose names in the Ingush language sound like Maat Loam and Bash Loam. Accordingly, in the Russian version, the Dining Room or the Refectory Mountain (to the left of the tower) and Kazbek (on the right). At the very top of the inner circle, just above the tower, is a semicircle of the sun, from which seven cone-shaped rays diverge uniformly in all directions. On the opposite side of the smaller circle under the eagle there is an image of a solar sign.

At the top, between the outer and inner circles, on the white background, the text "Republic of Ingushetia" is located in uppercase letters of red color, at the bottom - "GIALGIAY MOHK". El'diyev Ruslan Alimovich was engaged in drafting the republican state mark. The coat of arms and the flag of Ingushetia are used as a symbol that is respected and revered.

The color scheme present in the image of the coat of arms

When drawing an eagle, a tower, a solar semicircle with rays and ornaments, the artist used a golden yellow color on a sky-blue background.

The circumference of the solar sign is green, and the rays are red. Also green are the three arcs between him and the eagle. The official symbol of the republic was the efforts of his author to embody the idea of justice and the centuries-old struggle of the Ingush for independence. The flag of Ingushetia also has its designation.

What is the meaning of the symbolism of the Republic of Ingushetia?

For mountaineers, the eagle is primarily a brave and noble bird. Also, the eagle was attributed such traits as fidelity and wisdom. His presence on the coat of arms indicates that state men must make informed decisions.

The yellow silhouette of the sun and its rays has always been associated with the maintenance of life and material prosperity. This is especially characteristic of the Caucasian region, which nature generously endowed with sunlight. The next element - the battle tower - says that for a long time these fortifications in the mountains served as the bulwark of the inhabitants of the adjacent villages. But the sun contains both the coat of arms and the flag of Ingushetia. Photo of state signs can be found in our article.

In the three arc-shaped rays of the solar sign, which are bent in the direction opposite the clockwise rotation, the following meaning is laid. The Earth and the Sun are in continuous motion, the surrounding world is infinite, and all its subjects and phenomena are interconnected. From the Latin language solaris translates as "sunny". Therefore, it can be argued that the solar sign is one of the images of the sun, which in turn is associated with the fertile agriculture of Caucasians. The same symbol is present on the flag.

The flag of the flag

In the same year, when the Republic of Ingushetia appeared on the political map, the leadership approved the national flag with its introduction into the Heraldic Register. But only in 2014 it was decided to celebrate Flag Day on July 14.

A panel of rectangular shape, the length of which corresponds to the width of three to two. Two narrow green bands stretching along the entire length of two narrow narrow green stripes (occupying only a sixth of the width). They are separated by a wide white stripe with a solar sign in the center. The flag of Ingushetia is used on all holidays of the republic.

White color in symbolism is associated with pure thoughts, and the green color, which Muslims traditionally prefer, means fertility and prosperity. This designation has the flag of Ingushetia.
