Chops with pineapple

At the wedding party of my cousin was set a chic table. I, as a lover of cooking, noticed that one of the main hot dishes was chops with pineapple. I really liked this option, and I decided to repeat it, but at home. So, we will prepare chops with pineapple from pork.

To make this culinary masterpiece, you need 700 grams of pork pulp, a can of canned pineapple (choose the ones that are rings), 1 onion head, 200 grams of cheese, olives for decoration, mayonnaise, salt and spices as desired. A piece of pork is cut into portions (from such a quantity of meat I got 7 pieces, that is, 7 servings). Each piece is beaten from two sides by a special wooden hammer. Then we rub the pork with salt and spices, again we beat off a little, so that everything is absorbed into the meat. Spread on a baking tray. Onions are cleaned and cut into half rings, then spread out on each piece a little, lubricated with mayonnaise. We merge juice from the jar, lay out one pineapple ring for each piece of meat. Chops with pineapples are sent to the oven for about 40 minutes. 5 minutes before the preparedness, we take out the dish, sprinkle with cheese, center the olives and send it back to the oven to bake. As a side dish, you can put out vegetables or cook mashed potatoes, and if there is no time for garnishing - the usual pasta will do. Try to make such chops with pineapple, it turns out really very tasty. The main thing is not to be lazy.

This recipe rightfully took one of the first places in my cookbook. Pork can be substituted for any other meat that is in the refrigerator. Very delicious are chicken chops with pineapple. To make such chops you need 700 grams of chicken fillet (maybe less or more, it all depends on how many servings you expect to get, I get 100 grams per person), 100 grams of any hard cheese, canned pineapple rings (7 pieces), mayonnaise , Salt. The fillet is divided into 7 portions, we beat off well on both sides, as a result, the meat will become flabby. Then rub it with salt and put it on a baking sheet, lubricated with oil. Each slice of meat is smeared with mayonnaise to preserve the juice, we put pineapple on top. In this form, bake the chops in the oven until cooked. We rub the cheese on a large grater and sprinkle the ready hot chops. It must be slightly melted. You can decorate the dish with herbs, cherry tomatoes.

By the way, sometimes chicken chops are obtained dry, so you can cook them in batter. For the batter, 3 eggs, 50 ml of milk, flour and salt will be needed. Eggs and salt whisk, add flour. Consistency should get a little thicker than pancakes. Salted and salty pieces of meat dip into the batter and put on a baking tray. Then we follow the prescription. Thus, you can save the juiciness of meat. Here are such mouth-watering chops made with pineapple. The recipe is pretty straightforward, and the dish turns out delicious and tasty.

If you go into the history of the appearance of chops, it is difficult to say in which country they appeared, since in each national cuisine there are similar dishes that are prepared precisely by beating meat with various heavy appliances. In some cooking book, I read that the taste of meat depends also on the kind of wood the hammer is made for. Preference is given to oak hammers. It seemed strange to me, because in my opinion the breed of wood does not matter, and the taste of meat depends on how and how much it will be fried or baked. Regarding the heat treatment, too many opinions, some believe that it is better to grill chops, others - to bake. I also think it's better to bake them, although it's a matter of taste.
