Champagne Mondoro - Italian wine of the highest quality

Produced in the north of glorious Italy, in Piemonte, the sparkling champagne Mondoro is the most popular wine. His story began a century and a half ago, when in 1878 Enrico Serafino, an Italian landowner, organized a winery production. He began to grow the best vineyards in the country, offering customers a variety of different varieties of wine, but it was the champagne Mondoro Asti that brought Serafino the most popularity and glorified this brand to the whole world.

What is Asti Mondoro? This is an inexpressible, slightly perceptible floral fragrance, it is a tenderness and a delightful aftertaste ... The percentage of alcohol in this drink is very low - only 7.5, so drinking it is extremely pleasant and easy. Especially crazy about Mondoro, the fairer sex. Delicate taste, muscat aroma, a bouquet of honey, flowers and fruits - all this will enthrall any woman. Champagne Mondoro belongs to the elite class of wines and is rarely used for making cocktails. However, there are those in which the addition of this sparkling wine is entirely acceptable. Below, we give a few very interesting recipes using Asti Mondoro.

Cocktail № 1: "Strawberry Kiss"

Ingredients:

  • Strawberry liqueur - 30 g;
  • Champagne Mondoro Asti - 120g;
  • Fresh strawberries - 5-7 pieces;
  • ice cubes.

Preparation

Crush the strawberries with a mixer or in a blender until puree. Put a strawberry puree on the bottom of the cocktail glass, pour slowly and carefully onto the top with liqueur. Next up to the top, pour the champagne Asti Mondoro into the glass. Add a few ice cubes, stir with a spoon. Drink can be decorated with fresh strawberries.

Cocktail № 2: "The Polar Night"

Ingredients:

  • Cream ice cream - 100 g;
  • Light rum / fruit liqueur / cognac / fruit filling - 25 g;
  • Asti Mondoro (champagne) - 50 g;
  • ice cubes.

Preparation

In a thin glass for champagne, put an ice cube on the bottom. On top put an ice cream ball - it's about 2 tbsp. Spoons. If desired, cream ice cream can be replaced with fruit ice cream. Drink alcohol to your taste. Very slowly and accurately pour in a glass of champagne. To the table is served immediately, until the ice cream has melted.

Cocktail № 3: "Inspiration"

Ingredients:

  • Champagne Mondoro Asti - 50 g;
  • Cherry juice - 20 g;
  • Tangerine juice - 20 g;
  • ice cubes.

Preparation

In the glass we throw a few pieces of ice. Pour the cherry juice on the bottom of the cocktail glass . By the way, it can be replaced with any other sour juice of bright color. Then we pour in tangerine juice. Lastly, fill the tank with champagne.

Asti Mondoro will be pleasant to drink both in the heat and in the cold. Usually it is served as an aperitif or in combination with a dessert: fruit cake, strawberry, ice cream, grapes. To the table, Mondoro champagne is served at a temperature of 6-8 degrees.
