Chainsaw "Ural" and its operation

Chainsaw "Ural" is designed for cutting and harvesting of wood both in domestic and industrial scale. There are three types of devices for sale:

Household. This tool has a small engine power, a minimum of functions and is targeted at a user who does not possess professional skills.
Semi-professional. Chainsaws that can be used in construction, repair and logging. They have a powerful engine and have great capabilities. Continuous work with this tool is possible only for 8-10 hours.
Professional. Multi-functional and having a maximum power (up to 2.5 kW) chainsaws. They are used mainly at logging enterprises. Continuity of work is from 10 to 16 hours a day.

Safety when working with gasoline-powered saws

It is necessary to install the saw chain and adjust its tension only when the motor is stopped.
Do not use waste oil or mixed fuel when working with a chainsaw.
Use protective equipment while working with this instrument (headphones, gloves, helmet).
Do not exceed the time set by the rules for working with the vibrating tool.
The chainsaw "Ural" should not be operated in closed premises.
Before starting the saw engine, set it to a position that does not touch any objects (stones, earth, wood).
Observe the inclination and the stop of the reducer during sawing.
Check the chain tension during operation.
To release the chain, clamped in the cut, it is possible only when the saw motor is stopped.
Keep gasoline for tools in closed containers and away from fire.
It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the immediate vicinity of the saw.

Operating procedure

Chainsaw "Ural" will serve you long and trouble-free while observing the order of its use:

Fill the fuel tank with gasoline, and the oil tank with oil to lubricate the chain. Be careful not to spill liquid on the engine, if any, dry the surface of the poured piece dry.
Give a stable position to the saw.
Open the fuel supply channel and close the carburettor flap.
Be careful when starting the engine, because the chainsaw "Ural", the instruction to which is rarely read by the user, is extremely dangerous if used improperly. Run it far away from any objects.
With slow movements, pull out the starter handle so that there is grip on the flywheel. Then abruptly pull out the starter cord and lower its handle to create conditions for the correct winding of the cord.
When the first flashes appear, it is necessary to open the choke in the carburetor.

Chain saw "Ural" with a warm engine is brought into operation with the carburetor open.
