Brenda Walsh is a charming girl who in the first episodes tries her best to get rid of provincial naivety. She is a little envious of the lives of local teenagers, but soon realizes that they are truly unhappy. Famous mother Kelly suffers from alcoholism, Tiffany steals in expensive stores for the sake of parents' attention, and actress Skye ran away from home and dropped out of school.
