Breeding carp

Carp is a special kind of carp. The history of its artificial cultivation goes back thousands of years. Breeding carp can be a good business for the owner of a suburban plot of land. This fish grows and multiplies quickly, rather unpretentious, it is also sometimes called a "water pig" because it fattens very quickly. And, in addition, most people will be able to start this business, since it is not so difficult. It should also be noted that of all the fish it is carp most successfully multiplies "in captivity". The amount depends on the size of the reservoir, whether natural or artificial.

It is known that the breeding of carp in a pond in the garden is a perfectly acceptable thing. In such waters - shallow, deeply heated, - the carp lives well. It is noticed that in small pools this fish reproduces faster, and exists longer. This is explained by the fact that at a shallow depth the carp spends far less energy in order to find food there. In addition, the owner of a small pond is much easier to take care of this fish.

Before you start carp breeding on your garden, you first need to prepare a pond. If it already exists, then the task is simplified. But if for this purpose an artificial reservoir was created, which was later filled with "sterile" water, then it is too early to start carp in such an environment. Before this, you need to wait a few days - in this artificially created environment must appear microorganisms. Such a process can be accelerated. For this, for example, it is possible to lower a large bundle of grass or several buckets from a nearby reservoir into the water of the reservoir.

For the convenience of caring for the fish, carp breeding can be carried out in special cages - that is, bags of latex capron mesh, most often a trapezial or rectangular shape. Such devices are attached to special floating frames made of boards, to which floats are fastened - empty metal containers. Their average volume is from one hundred to two hundred liters, but directly depends on the size and volume of the cage.

Having lowered such adaptations in water, it is possible to start their stocking. For this, it is better to use one-year-old carp. Next, you need to solve the issue of aeration and lighting the tank.

This is quite a convenient way to grow fish. However, carp breeding in cages is a process that is managed only partially, because external factors - that is, the temperature of the environment, weather conditions - are affected. It is more effective to grow in special pools. They need to aerate the water, pump it and drain the contamination. They can be placed wherever possible to quickly fill them with liquid. Aeration can be performed by any compressor, even by a vacuum cleaner. The pool can be built up practically from any materials - wood, bricks, etc. In it, stocking can be made even in early spring, with the sole condition - this capacity needs to be closed from above, warmed.

If you decide to put carp from another pond in your pond, first call the water temperature so that it is at the level of the pond from which the fish was brought. Feeding: worms of rain, larvae, steamed grain. By the way, the volume of cereals should not exceed five percent of the total diet. However, you can feed and feed. This fish has a great appetite.

Keep in mind that in the intense heat begins to drop the water level in the pond. But it's still nothing - in this weather and the level of oxygen in the water drops sharply. The first sign that the carp lacks space, air - it floats up and it seems to swallow the air. And the lack of oxygen in the water can cause the fish in the pond to die extensively.

Fishing should be carried out in the autumn, since it is likely that after the onset of severe colds, carp under the ice will not suffice for oxygen. To the frozen water on the surface of the reservoir quickly melted in the spring, it is desirable to sprinkle it with peat, sand or just plain earth. The earlier in the spring the fish will be released into the pond, the more weight it will gain by the fall. Carp spawns in places where the shallows and thickets of algae.

Proceeding from all this, it is possible to draw a conclusion: carp breeding at home is a matter not only possible, but also quite profitable.
