Boiler installations - a warm place under the sun

Now the problems of heat supply are successfully solved due to the use of autonomous sources of thermal energy, which is especially relevant for enterprises with small production capacities. Such sources, of course, can serve as boiler plants. They are also highly efficient in the heat supply of residential buildings. Modern boiler plants are a high-tech complex of special equipment intended for heating installations of any scale and orientation.

Despite the huge choice of types and modifications of such devices, practically all of them have identical main components, which include the following: an operational bunker, a fuel delivery device with a dispenser (gas lock), a gas generator, a water heating boiler, a controller-programmer, a special fuel humidification system .

Boiler plants can operate on a wide variety of liquid (waste oil, diesel or fuel oil), gaseous and solid fuels, as well as electricity. This is the undeniable advantage of such systems. Today, two technologies are actively used for heating: autonomous heating and centralized heating. In Russia, for example, the most common is the centralized supply of thermal energy from the CHP, which accounts for the heating of about eighty percent of urban housing stock.

Heating plants and large industrial enterprises, as a rule, have several powerful boiler plants, for which reserve capacities are provided, united by a single supply main and a steam pipeline, which allows to carry out repairs and maintenance without stopping the boiler plants and without reducing the amount of thermal energy produced by them.

A serious drawback of the centralized heating system is the wear of heating mains, which sometimes leads to losses of up to 20% of energy, as well as a costly and time-consuming installation of boiler equipment. This explains the recent stable trend towards the introduction of autonomous heat supply technologies.

Block-modular boiler plants designed for heat supply to one or a small group of consumers, allow to optimize energy losses substantially and avoid coolant leaks that often occur due to accidents of conventional centralized heating networks.

This type of boiler plant can be equipped with a wide variety of equipment (taking into account the specifics of the facility). And the installation of this type of boiler plants is also not very difficult, because they consist of separate modules and sandwich panels (blocks) of external fencing, easily assembled into a single structure. Therefore, block type boiler houses do not even require a separate room and can be used almost in the field. Another advantage of block-modular boiler plants is the relative ease of their transportation, due to small dimensions and a small mass of components (modules).
