Boiler hot water: how can it be?

You can name the minimum set for an autonomous heating system: a boiler, heating appliances, fittings, expansion tank, air valves. The boiler is here the basis. The correct choice of this device depends on the expected type of fuel, the area of the room, as well as the main tasks assigned to it.

The boiler is a complex device in which the required heat is produced for its subsequent transfer to the heat carrier. The basic design of all similar devices is similar: a cast iron or metal furnace with a heat exchanger built in. By type of fuel used, it is possible to divide these devices into several categories:

- boiler hot-water solid fuel - works on coal, wood, coke, briquettes;

- gas - uses balloon or main natural gas;

- liquid fuel - works on diesel oil or fuel oil;

- electric - uses ordinary electricity;

- universal or multi-fuel - allows you to simultaneously use several types of resources for work.

The solid-fuel water heating boiler has one very important advantage - the possibility of creating a completely autonomous heating system. The fuel is available for him, it is quite safe to store, the device is simply and quickly repaired, and the service life is 15-50 years, which is quite a lot. Modern models have advanced automation, allowing to maintain the desired temperature of the coolant at the outlet.

In operation of this device there is also a certain inconvenience - the need to regularly load fuel, because of which the possibility of automatic heating mode is completely excluded. The forces and time will require maintenance, which consists in cleaning the combustion chamber of slag and ash, and also monitoring the process of operation.

Operation of water -gas boilers of gas-generating type is slightly simpler, since they work on the basis of burning fuel, as well as gases produced during this process. Such a device works with less formation of ash and soot due to the fact that the fuel burns almost completely. There is also a higher efficiency factor in comparison with a conventional device. However, such steam and hot water boilers are highly dependent on power supply, and also slightly more expensive than conventional solid fuel.

Devices that work by using natural gas are more profitable in terms of operation, due to which they are very popular. Such a boiler makes it possible to economically solve the problems associated with heating and hot water supply. Conventionally, devices of this type are divided into floor, wall, as well as appliances that allow the use of liquid and solid fuel, if necessary.

Steam appliances are different from hot water by appointment and output. On the first parameter they are divided into industrial and energy. It is worth mentioning that in domestic conditions the operation of steam boilers is economically unprofitable.
