Bifiform - instruction

The action of the drug "Bifiform" is aimed at inhibiting (slowing down) the development of pathogenic microbes in the intestines, provoking gastrointestinal disorders, dysbiosis and violating the resistance of the body's defense system.

The active components of the preparation are bifidobacterium longum (Bifidobacterium longum) and enterococcus fecium (Enterococcus faecium). Excipients: gum, sour milk lactic dry, lactulose, magnesium stearate.

Bifiform is released in an intestine-soluble shell resistant to the acidic environment of the stomach, which breaks down where it is necessary to reach the drug with bioavailability and better absorption. Thus, in the intestine, active ingredients of acetic and lactic acid develop and suppress pathogenic microorganisms.

The drug is prescribed in the treatment of dysbiosis, for normalization in children and adults of the intestinal microflora. The drug is used to prevent and treat disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, to strengthen immunity.

To the contraindications to the use of the drug "Bifiform" the instruction refers only to hypersensitivity to the components.

The maximum dosage is two or three capsules per day. Exceed the indicated amount when taking the drug "Bifiform" the instruction does not recommend.

The duration of therapy depends on the nature of the disease. More specifically, the regimen of dosing and administration is prescribed by the attending physician, it is necessary to consult with him before use.

As practice shows, the elimination of symptoms of the disorder in the digestive tract (diarrhea, in particular) occurs on average for two to three days. In other cases, the duration of the drug may be from ten to twenty-one days.

Pathogenic microorganisms begin to predominate in the event that there are not enough useful bacteria. In this case, begins to develop flatulence, diarrhea and other disorders of the intestine. The product is available in the form of round, biconvex tablets, white with a yellowish tint of color, containing varicoloured inclusions.

As observations show, the effect of this remedy is noted already on the first or second day of use. Symptoms of dysbacteriosis, as a rule, disappear on the tenth day. Depending on the severity of the bifiform state, the instruction is allowed to take up to three weeks. The drug is also used in the complex therapy of food allergies.

The medication is combined and contains bifidobacteria, lactobacilli, and also B-vitamins. Components that make up the drug determine the mechanism of its effect. Bifidobacteria and lactobacilli contribute to maintaining the balance of the intestinal flora, participating in its regulation and giving the mucous resistance to the effects of pathogenic agents.

The drug is prescribed for the treatment of intestinal infections, dysbacterioses of different nature, food allergies (in complex therapy) for children from three to twelve years, two tablets twice a day. The treatment course is ten to twenty-one days. Tablets are for chewing, do not swallow whole.

When taking the drug in recommended doses of side effects is not established.

The drug is not recommended for hypersensitivity to its constituents.
