Benedict Clark in the role of little Severus Snape. All about the hero and the actor

Who does not know the story of Harry Potter? Everyone who has read this tale knows about Severus Snegg, with whom the main character had no relations from the very first book. And all because of Father Harry, who in his youth was very at loggerheads with Severus. And in this article, we'll tell you about the young Severus Snegge and about the actor who played him in the last Harry Potter movie.

A bit about the actor himself

Benedict Clark was born on the fifth of December ninety-sixth year. Now he is twenty years old. He played the young Severus Snape at the age of about fifteen and coped quite well with his role. Its height is one meter seventy three centimeters. The eyes of the actor are beautiful blue. This is a beginner, but a good actor, and in the future, perhaps, we will see a new star. It is worth noting that the actor himself has dark-brown hair. In order for Benedict Clark to become like the real little Severus Snape, he had to be painted black. Lives an actor in England, in London. He graduated from acting school. Spends his free time skating in the streets on roller skates.

Benedict Clark. Filmography

The filmography of this actor, to be sure, is modest. In addition to the movie "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part II", he starred in several other films. This is a short film "Following the sirens" (2011) and Awkward Facades (2012), which was not translated into Russian. Both films are short. "In the footsteps of the sirens" is a thriller and a terrible horror film, and Awkward Facades is a melodrama. But, of course, the most memorable role of Benedict Clark (Severus Snegg) played in the story of a wizard who survived.

In addition, relatively recently, Benedict took part in another short film, called Andys. We removed this short film in 2014.

In the seventh part, Harry Potter learns that Severus Snape, who was starred in the film by the novice actor Benedict Clark, was a double agent and worked all the time at Dumbledore. This occurs after Severus' conversation with Volan de Mort, who ordered his snake Nagaine to kill the former Potions master. When the dark lord leaves the room, Harry, Ron and Hermione come to Severus Snape, who gives them his memories of childhood, adolescence and his relationship with Albus Dumbledore.

Childhood of Severus Snape

The first memory, which is associated with young Severus, began on an almost empty playground. Two girls Lily Evans and her sister Petunia swung on a swing, and Severus Snape hid in the bushes and watched them. In the book he is described as a wiry and thin boy with pale skin. His clothes were too big for such a build. From the book it becomes clear that Severus Snape lived with his magical mother and Muggle father. Parents often quarreled, which left a certain imprint on the character of Snape. Benedict Clarke as no one approached this role. In this scene, Severus watched as Lily swung higher and eventually landed very gently and gently on the ground. This interested him and he realized that she was a sorceress. Then Lily showed Petunia a flower, which in her hands began to open and close the petals. At that time, Severus Snape emerged from the bushes and told Lily that everything was clear to him and that she was a sorceress. But the girls thought that the boy was calling, offended and left.

In the second scene, Benedict Clark played Severus when he was sitting on the grass with Lily Evans and telling her about the magic school of Hogwarts, about magic wands and Muggles. In the last scenes, Severus Snape with the help of magic painfully hits Petunia with a branch and Lily runs away, offended by him.

Severus Snegg and Lily Evans in the school train

This scene in the film is not shown. In it, Severus Snape again reconciles with Lily and at the same time gets acquainted with his school enemies - James Potter, who will become Harry's father and husband of Lily, and Sirius Black. On the train, he tells Lily that it will be very good if they both go to Slytherin.

The last scene with the participation of Benedict Clark

The last scene, in which Benedict Clark participated, occurs at Hagwarts. On September 1, 1971, Severus and Lily enter the school. It is worth noting that the distribution was first distributed by Lily Evans, and then by Severus. When Lily was directed to Gryffindor, Severus involuntarily burst out a painful groan.

Reviews of critics about the game of Benedict Clark

As we already mentioned above, most of the actor glorified the role of young Severus Snape in the film "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II". Judging by the few reviews of film critics, the aspiring actor excellently coped with his difficult role. Expressive facial expressions and beautiful appearance of the actor especially liked the young fans of movies about the boy who survived. Perhaps soon we will see more movies with Benedict Clark, but for the moment there are only three shorts in which he took part. Let's hope that soon Benedict will smile good luck, and he will play some major role in the film of one of the famous British filmmakers.
