Kombed is the organ of the revolution in the countryside

In 1917 the Great October Socialist Revolution completely changed the class component of power in the state. Instead of the big bourgeoisie and tsarism, representatives of the proletariat and the poor strata of the population came to power. To implement the policy of the Bolsheviks in the village, a comrade was created (deciphering the name - the committee of the poor).

The manifestations of the revolution in the villages

As is known, during the period 1917-1920. A very strong struggle continued between the Red Army and the forces of the counter-revolutionary forces. Despite the fact that part of the territory of Russia was initially controlled by Soviet troops, not all the population of the controlled regions supported the new government. The Communists were opposed by well-to-do villagers who had grain stocks, because at one time they were able to earn money for the purchase of primitive agricultural tools for growing grain.

Establishment of poor committees

Kombed is the organ that was created in every village under the control of the Soviet government . It included the poorest villagers. Also in the work of the committee could participate middle peasants. Kombedy were created in the second half of 1918 with the goal of realizing the policy of "military communism" in the countryside.

The goals of the poor committees

Before the revolution, the poor peasants were practically powerless. In modern language, there were classical market relations in the village, and the one who was stronger won.

Kombed is an organ of struggle against kulaks as a social class. One of the elements of the policy of "war communism" was a surplus-appropriation. It was believed that to provide the city with supplies of grain it is necessary to take it from the rich peasants. Of course, the kulaks did not want to give up their reserves, earned by honest labor. Committees of the poor as the organs of the dictatorship of the proletariat on the spot in every possible way helped the communist troops.

In addition, the comrade is by function as a village council in a certain territory. These bodies solved the issues of the economic plan, because it was necessary to collect a new crop of cereals. Such a task in the conditions of weak organization of power in the first post-revolutionary years was very important. It was also the duty of committee members to seek volunteer volunteers to join the Red Army, to increase the strength of the army of the Soviet state.

Kombed is an important organ of Soviet power

The importance of the poor committees on the ideological level is emphasized by the fact that these bodies were engaged in educational work on the territory of their communities. The problem of illiteracy of the population at that time had not yet been resolved. For people to have the opportunity to read propaganda leaflets of the Leninist party, they needed to be taught the basics of writing. The educational work carried both educational and ideological workload.

Without the creation of committees of the poor peasants in the village, carrying out a surplus-appropriation, recruiting volunteers and fighting against kulaks would be more difficult. The Soviet government had a social base formed in the association in each village, which helped the communist policy as much as possible.
