Beef Filling: two ways of cooking

The jellied beef is a wonderful dish for the holiday. To prepare it, you can use different methods. We suggest that you familiarize yourself with some of them.

Beef steak: recipe

What do you need:

  • Pulp of beef - about 1 kg;
  • A packet (25 grams) of gelatin;
  • Boiled chicken egg - 1 piece;
  • Medium-sized carrots;
  • Greens, olives;
  • Pepper, salt, bay leaf.

Technology

To prepare a beef from a beef, in the very beginning it is necessary to put gelatin. Pour it in a glass of cold water and leave for an hour. During this time we will prepare meat and vegetables. Wash and peel the carrots. Rinse the meat and pour cold water (about 2.5 liters), add the carrot to it, put the bay leaf, salt and cook for 2 hours. Take the carrots immediately after they are ready. Once the meat is cooked, remove it from the broth and cool it. Empty the liquid. Immediately add gelatin to it. Put again on the fire, bring to a boil and immediately turn it off. It is not necessary to boil. Gently slice the boiled carrots and eggs. Cut the meat into flat portioned pieces across the fibers. In the form for pouring lay meat, greens, olives, eggs. Spread the ingredients beautifully. Fill with broth and refrigerate.

Beef can be decorated in many ways. For example, make roses from vegetables or lay out green peas and slices of lemon. Be creative and your dish will look spectacular and appetizing on the festive table.

Filling of beef. The second method of preparation

This dish will require the availability of:

  • A piece of beef (or veal) weighing about 500 grams;
  • Vegetable oil;
  • The root of parsley and celery (30 grams each);
  • Eggs of boiled chicken (2 pieces);
  • Salt.

For jelly:

  • Beef seeds (1 kg);
  • Onions (1 head);
  • Carrots - (1 pc.);
  • Packs (40 grams) of gelatin;
  • Bay leaves and cloves;
  • Sweet pepper peas and salt.

Technology of preparation

We offer step by step instruction.

Cut the meat into large pieces, pour a little. Fry them with a part of the roots in vegetable oil or fat.

Step 2

Frying pan (if it is suitable for the oven) put in an electric stove and bring the beef until ready. Or use a heat resistant mold. Transfer the meat into it, pour in fat and put in the oven.

Step 3

While the meat is baked, prepare the jelly. Cook a strong broth from the bones. When cooking, put carrots, whole bulb, remaining roots in it. Remove the foam and do not close the lid.

Step 4

Gelatin fill with water, leave to swell. Follow the instructions. Once the broth is ready, pour the prepared mixture into it. Stir, put a laurel, seasonings, cloves, salt and bring to a boil.

Step 5

Broth and strain cool broth.

Step 6

The meat is baked. We take it out of the oven and cut it into neat pieces of the same size. Spread them in molds or serving plates. Around lay slices of boiled carrots, eggs, parsley leaves. Pour the jelly.

Step 7

Put the meat in the refrigerator. In a few hours the beef will be ready to be filled. Serve to the table, decorating the dish to your liking.
