Asparkam: application and description of the drug

"Asparcum" is an antiarrhythmic, diuretic drug intended also to restore electrolyte imbalance. This drug contains potassium and magnesium in its composition in equal proportions, that is, those substances that are necessary for all metabolic processes.

In addition, the tool "Asparkam" application finds in sports. As a result of its effect on the body, a number of physical abilities of a person are increased. The drug significantly increases the tone of all the skeletal muscles and optimizes the motility of the gastrointestinal tract (due to the relief, release of acetylcholine).

In fairly small doses, K + increases the lumen of the coronary arteries, and in large ones - narrows. That is, this drug has a negative batmo- and chronotropic effect, in higher doses it has a negative dromo- and inotropic effect, and also has a moderate diuretic effect.

Mg 2+ is the cofactor of 300 basic enzyme reactions. It is also a necessary element that participates in the process of spending energy.

The components of this drug are actively involved in the balance of electrolytes, ion transport, membrane permeability, as well as neuromuscular excitability.

Mg 2+ is included in the structure of DNA, takes part in the synthesis of RNA, the leading apparatus of heredity, the growth of cells, during cell division.

This drug "Asparkam" does not limit its application to the above. It normalizes the excessive release of catecholamine in stressful situations, lipolysis and the further release of free fatty acids is possible.

Pregnant medicinal product "Asparcum" application is possible in exceptional situations, as the results of taking the drug pregnant are not described. Therefore, in this case it is better to consult a doctor before taking the medicine.

The drug "Asparcum" contraindications has a small application, it is any form of kidney failure and hyperkalemia.

For intravenous infusion, the drug, which is contained in 1-2 ampoules of 10 ml or in 2-4 ampoules of 5 ml, is diluted in 200 ml of phys. Solution or in 5% of glucose.

Duration of treatment with Asparcum (application without interruption) is determined exclusively by the attending physician. But, as a rule, this period does not exceed ten days.

Separately it is necessary to talk about the possible consequences of an overdose of this drug. With excessively rapid intravenous administration of the drug or with the administration of the drug in large doses, it is possible to develop hyperkalemia and hypermagnesemia. Outwardly this is manifested by severe reddening of the skin of the face, thirst, lowering of arterial pressure, various kinds of convulsions.

In such cases, urgent medical attention is required. As a rule, a solution of calcium gluconate or calcium chloride 10% in a dosage of 10-40 ml (depending on the severity of the overdose) is urgently introduced, measures are taken to normalize breathing and hemodynamics, and other necessary symptomatic therapy.
