Artificial moss in the interior. How to make artificial moss?

Interior design is a very inspiring process. Everyone wants to make their apartment unique and cozy, to give it an original look, to distinguish its dwelling among the gray monotony of the "concrete jungle". All these tasks with success will help to solve artificial moss: ekostyle now becomes more popular. It allows you to visually bring a typical city apartment to nature, without reducing its comfort. So designers actively fantasize in the direction of using this material.

Ideas for walls

The use of vegetation in the interior was first decided by artists from Norway. True, they used live, not artificial moss. Several years ago, at an exhibition in London, they offered the attention of the intrigued audience a fragment of the room where the wall above the head of the bed was laid out by a yagel. The idea so pleased the audience that it began to be actively used throughout the civilized world.

Artificial moss for decoration can cover the entire wall, for example, over a rest area. A can be used fragmentarily, framing a plasma screen or shelves with books. Very elegant look "islets" from it, artistically scattered on the surface. And vertical narrow strips of moss visually overstate low ceilings. In this case, the relief of such a coating will make the decoration of the room more convex and spectacular.

Artificial moss is combined with almost all the finishing materials. It plays only with an openly urban element - plastic panels. But with glass and chrome is combined remarkably, thanks to which it can be used even in a room decorated under high-tech.

Moss as a material for decorative elements

Not everyone will decide to use vegetation for the walls. But for decoration of individual parts decorative artificial moss is a very valuable find. First of all, this applies to flower pots. In most household gardens they are different and have a different style of orientation. And even at all on the windowsills are boring plastic containers. This creates the impression of some untidiness and reduces both the effectiveness of design in general, and the attractiveness of indoor plants. Where the elegant "landscape" will look, if the pots are pasted with artificial moss. This idea is especially good for large tubs.

Very effective artificial moss, used in the design of frames for mirrors, paintings and photographs. Such natural spots in the interior make it warmer and more comfortable. Very interesting paintings of moss. True, to create them you need to either be able to draw, or hire a professional artist. And, finally, the lampshades decorated with moss give a completely unimaginable effect. And so you can decorate and table lamps, and sconces, and chandeliers.

Furniture with moss inserts

Next, the designers from Verde Profilo moved forward in eco-management. Their furniture, decorated with moss, made a real sensation. Inserts (from a living plant, by the way) are found on the backs of beds, coffee tables, doors and lids of nightstands. In our country this furniture is inaccessible. And if you find where to order it, it will cost you almost more than a budget car.

However, having some ingenuity and growing from where the hands are laid, you will be able to get the result no worse. So, moss rolls on the surface of your favorite table. It is better to choose a model with a glass top, so it will be more obvious and spectacular. Then the vegetation is covered by a glass of the same size - and you get magnificent furniture in a naturalistic style.

Summer design

Moss in the landscape is a long and actively used material. If your site is limited to an old stone fence, it can be revived with patterns and drawings made from this plant. They can also trim the sides of an artificial pond or the basement of their country estate - the building will acquire an ancient and mysterious appearance.

Advantages of artificial moss

Initially, the interior was finished with natural moss. However, it has a number of shortcomings. First, the plant needs moisture. When it dries up, it loses much of its decorativeness. Secondly, live moss has a tendency to grow: often not at all, where necessary. Thirdly, some of its species are poisonous. If the house has small children and animals, plant installations can be dangerous for them.

All these drawbacks are devoid of artificial moss. And most importantly - it does not need to grow, take care of it and wait for it to occupy the territory intended for it. Artificial moss is sold and rugs, and large rolls, and lumps. So the decorator has the opportunity to purchase it in the form that most suits the idea.

All of the above options will be a wonderful imitation of natural moss!
