Applique 'Dragon' everywhere: in postcards, on glass and on cushions

Every year we meet under some sign of the zodiac. And all year and in our clothes, and in our interior, and in gifts, there is necessarily a symbol of this creature. Who knows how true this is, but all the same I want to believe that this will help us to become a little happier and more lucky!

And this year - the year of the Dragon - we will decorate our home with this symbol. You can, for example, sew the original sofa cushion. And decorate her applique! A dragon, the image of which can be sewn or glued on the pillowcase with polyethylene, can be kind and sweet, or maybe strong, formidable. As will please the master who creates the product.

If the baby has lost weight on his knees, or if his mother suddenly has such a desire, then the application of the "dragon" on children's clothes will look great. Of course, in this case, the mythical creature must necessarily be good-natured and smiling. Although cute dinosaurs are excellent for these purposes.

A special option is a birthday present for those born on the day of the dragon. Here, without the original "dragon" gift can not do! And the first thing to take care of is to make a postcard in the scrapbooking technique. On the front side of the postcard, of course, must be applied adornment - a dragon ... with the face of the birthday man! And do you know how best to do this?

The photo will need to be "adjusted" with the help of the "publisher" or "photoshop" in size to the prepared for the label of the dragon. It is best not to spoil the photo by cutting out it, but simply paste it on the inner page of the postcard. But the application "Dragon in anger" or "Good Fat Man - dragoness sniffs flowers" (the choice of the postcard depends on the nature of the birthday person and the sense of humor of both participants of the action) is located on the first page.

It is necessary to transfer the position of the face on the photo to a blank sheet from the postcard with a photocopy paper , noting the size of the page in the same place. Having cut out the face on the received template, we impose it on the page, on which there is an application of paper - a dragon. Having checked the correct position of the hole, the master must carefully cut it. Now, in folded form, everyone can see such a humorous picture - a cartoon: a dragon with a birthday person!

In order for the postcard to become even more original, you can add to it the volume. This effect is achieved quite easily: you just need to paste "scales" throughout the dragon's body. They can be made from a wide variety of materials, both from paper, and from fabric or imitation leather. Each "scaly", having the form of a triangle or halves of an oval, is pasted to the body of the dragon by the base.

It is necessary to strictly observe the straight line, along which the "scales" should be leveled. The gluing must begin at the bottom of the dragon, from its tail. Triangles or semi-ovals of each successive row must overlap the base of the previous row, just as the scales of the fish are located.

Before the celebration of the name-day, the room itself, where the guests will be assembled, is also a good decoration. You can hang on the walls of the corresponding posters with congratulations. Even some very talented relatives make out to this day a humorous wall newspaper or a collage of personal photos.

Also, the application on the glass looks wonderful. For it it is necessary to depict the conceived drawing on a transparent vinyl film with stained-glass paint , tracing it with a contour paint. Now you can bravely glue the application to any glass: in the door, in the window or on the balcony.

The film is glued with water. After careful ironing to remove air between the glass and the film, the appliance is firmly held in place. But when the holiday is over, it can be easily removed. And the glass remains almost completely clean! This version of glass decoration is much simpler and more practical than the old way of painting them with watercolor or gouache. To wash away the paint from the glass is, alas, very tiresome, time-consuming and ungrateful.
