The drug is affordable at affordable prices. In pharmacies in Moscow, you can purchase one package for 70-80 rubles. The Ukrainian analogue of "Proserin" costs the same - on average 20 UAH.

Indications for use

The drug is used to treat and prevent pathologies of the nervous system, which are accompanied by impairment of impulse transmission and a decrease in muscle tone. The drug is indicated when:

  • Pathological fatigue and chronic muscle weakness (myasthenia gravis).
  • Paralysis of various origins.

In addition, in some cases, "Proserin" is prescribed as an antidote to the drugs that cause muscle relaxation. It is important to remember that unsystematic use of drugs, especially with a complex mechanism of action, the presence of serious contraindications and possible side effects, is unacceptable. Do not self-medicate! In the future, this can complicate the traditional diagnosis and treatment scheme, as well as lead to serious complications.

Contraindications and side effects

The main contraindications to the use of "Proserin" are acute infectious and inflammatory processes, various pathologies of normal operation of the cardiovascular system, mechanical obstruction of the urinary tract or gastrointestinal tract, epilepsy. Under strict medical supervision, a medicine is taken during pregnancy and lactation.

The use of "Proserin" can be accompanied by several unpleasant side effects from the digestive, cardiovascular, respiratory or nervous systems. Sometimes there are allergic reactions. The patient may experience digestive disorders, heart rhythm disturbances, the appearance of shortness of breath, headache and general weakness.

Tablets or solution for injection?

The choice of the form of the drug depends on the patient's condition. Injection solution is used primarily in cases where it is necessary that the drug quickly acted. Advocates of the injection method of medication administration argue that injections, unlike tablets, do not harm the digestive tract, liver and kidneys.

In fact, there is no fundamental difference in effectiveness between tablets and injections. And the load on the liver and kidneys is created in any case (when removing the drug from the body called "Proserin"). Analogues in tablets and the original drug, as a rule, are used somewhat more often than solutions.

Analogues of "Proserin"

Absolutely synonymous drugs for the main active substance does not have medicament. Is it possible to choose between the following medicines: "Prozerin Darnitsa" and the Russian medicine "Proserin". Analogues for the action are preparations Armin, Ubretid, Amiridin, Oksazil, Neuromidin and some other medicines.

Synonymous drugs are available in various forms. So, analogues of "Proserin" in ampoules for injections are "Ubretyd", "Amiridin" and "Neuromidine". Remember that the replacement of any medications prescribed by the attending physician should be done only after consulting a specialist. In some cases, the lack of approval by a medical practitioner regarding the appropriateness of using certain drugs threatens to seriously worsen the state of health.

This indicates that Armin is successfully used in glaucoma, optic atrophy and increased intraocular pressure. Also, the drug is used for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in ophthalmology.

When using drops in accordance with the instructions and recommendations of the attending physician, unpleasant consequences are rare.
