The soldering acid is the main component of the soldering process . This way of connecting several parts together is considered one of the most reliable and simple.

The soldering process is a whole series of technological measures, which result in a practical and durable connection. Such operations are possible only if special solders and fluxes are used, which serve as a binder. Thus, the quality of the connection will depend directly on the properties and characteristics that the resulting junction point has.

This method of connecting two or more parts was developed by the Egyptians over 5 millennia ago. At the same time, a list of materials was compiled, which are sealed by a similar method. It will be fair to note that this list of metals is currently widely used in production.

In addition, soldering acid is a distinctive feature of the soldering process from the welding process. We will understand these concepts in more detail. Welding of parts occurs due to the heating of their edges to the melting point and the subsequent fusion of these edges into a single whole. At the same time, the soldering of parts is nothing more than the usual heating of the required parts of the parts and further fusing onto the formed heated space of the substance, which is called "rosin for soldering." At the same time, the edges of the metal parts do not change their properties, but only undergo heating. It should be noted that an easily melted special substance is used to join the materials. Due to their excellent characteristics, products connected by the soldering process are sometimes even more durable than welding.

Soldering acid has only one drawback: due to some features, the joints obtained in this way are not collapsible. This means that the replacement of worn parts is impossible.

As a result of the development of plastic parts of the joint by soldering and welding, less and less are used in the manufacturing plants and in everyday life. However, such processes are still indispensable for the repair of metal parts.

The soldering acid, which is determined for this or that part material, may differ slightly in composition. As a matter of fact, and solders, which are an alloy of two metals that have small and close melting points. In technical language, this range is called the melting zone.

All substances used to join the parts are divided into three categories, due to which it is possible to obtain a hard or soft, as well as high-temperature soldering. It should be noted that the latter variety is prohibited for use in domestic conditions precisely because of high temperatures.

Solid soldering provides connections with high strength and refractoriness. In some cases - by malleability. At the same time, soft soldering (the main area where soldering acid is used) gives the material elasticity and flexibility.
