An entertaining story of the word "jeans"

The history of the word "jeans" goes back to the 19th century, when the colonization of American lands developed into a world emigration. Many talented artisans and inventors traveled to the golden country for their dream. Among them was the son of the Jewish tailor Levi Strauss, who arrived in San Francisco for gold mines, without a penny to his soul.

At that time, hard workers, digging trenches and needing strong clothing, were exhausted from the heat in woolen trousers. Others were easy to tear to shreds or difficult to wash. Here is where the story of the word "jeans" originates.

The fabric from which the first jeans trousers were sewn, was intended for workers' tents. However, the model was so successful that sewing began on an industrial scale. The color of "indigo" was permanently entrenched in jeans, and Levi Strauss organized to this day a successful transnational corporation.

The history of the word "jeans" has become associated with reliability, style and success. Cowboys and gold miners long figured in advertising these products. Such jeans were also remembered for Soviet students, in the wardrobe of which they began to enter the seventies. No matter how the party tried to eradicate jeans, they turned out to be immortal and each year only gained popularity, remaining even today the most common and universal clothing.

Now there are a lot of variations with prints, laces, metal rivets. At least one pair of jeans simply must be in the wardrobe of any person.
