Amazing nearby: mushrooms, horned

Rogatiki - mushrooms, the appearance of which is very different from what we are used to seeing. Coral body of this representative of the world of living nature is striking with its unusual beauty. He does not have a leg or a hat. Vertically growing branched ducts are very difficult to associate with fungi, but the horns, or ramaria, refer specifically to this kingdom. By the way, the closest relative of the horned rod is the chanterelles. Despite the different appearance, scientists believe that they had a common ancestor.

Mushrooms are several species. But more often there are reed, amethyst and yellow. These mushrooms grow in moist coniferous forests, on rotten debris of trees, bark or directly on moss, on cowberry glades. They appear in the main peak of quiet hunting - in August, early September. By the way, for an unusual appearance, mushrooms were called mushroom noodles. Data on the edibility of the fungus vary. Russians often bypass the Ramarium, not counting it edible, but in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Germany, they prepare wonderful dishes or dry for the winter to use as a condiment for various soups and sauces. Moreover, Europeans, in spite of the fact that horns are considered to be edible fungi of the fourth category, are ready to consume young fruit bodies for food and fresh. As for the taste qualities, the ramaria, which has practically no flavor, is bitter.

Mushroom hornet yellow grows in length by 20 centimeters. The fleshy tube body, white at the base and yellow as it grows, branches out, dividing first into a pair of twigs, which then branch out, and so on. In biology, this division is called dichotomous. When pressing mushrooms, slings, whose flesh is fragile, watery, a little blush. With age, the color of the tubular body changes to ocher and orange.

Another type of ramaria - amethyst hornets - is found in deciduous forests, mainly in birch groves. The color of the branched body is very unusual - purple or purple. This mushroom grows solitary or whole groups-families. Unlike the yellow mushrooms, amethyst hornets are much smaller and reach a height of 7 centimeters. The stem of the fungus is practically absent, and the ends of the branches are notched. Like the yellow Ramaria, amethyst also belongs to the fourth category and is eaten at a young age.

It is completely different from the first two representatives of the reed Ramaria. It grows in coniferous forests from the middle of July and lasts until mid-September. Occurs in small groups of 3-5 mushrooms. The yellow body in the form of a tongue or mace grows to 10 centimeters and, unlike the previous species, does not branch. With age, the fungus stretches and begins to resemble a tongue of dark yellow or brown color. The mushroom is edible and is eaten in boiled or dried form.

The kingdom of living nature is striking in its diversity. Someone admires his children with his unusual appearance, someone disgusts him. It is to such ambiguous representatives that mushrooms are born.
