All kinds of gymnastics are good for health

Hardly anyone can argue that breathing is life. Without water, a person can live for several days, without food - a couple of months, and without air only a couple of minutes. The history of gymnastics says that Indian yogis know how to do without breath for longer than a simple person. Having a breath, you can achieve a state of excitement or maximum relaxation.

The respiratory system may be subject to the will of man. The change in breathing affects the whole body, because with a deep inspiration the diaphragm is displaced and a mechanical effect on the organs arises, the blood flow increases. If breathing changes or stops for a while, the concentration of gases in the blood may be disturbed. As a result, the work of the body systems will change. For example, holding your breath can slow your heart. With increased breathing, the amount of carbon dioxide in the blood decreases and from this the blood circulation of the brain worsens, which affects the psychological state. Today there are different types of gymnastics, from which you can choose the most suitable one yourself.

Respiratory exercises carry out two main goals, such as affecting the breathing apparatus and increasing its functionality. Influencing breathing, there may be changes in human systems and organs. Breathing exercises have been used since ancient times. At different times, the exercises were treated differently, but interest in them did not disappear. In many countries, experts believe that some types of gymnastics can increase resistance to diseases and generally improve the body. And this is absolutely true.

All kinds of gymnastics include such components as:

- Depth and frequency of breathing;
- the ratio of the time of inspiration, expiration and pause;
- thoracic and diaphragmatic respiration;
- Direction of air through the nose or mouth;
- resistance to air currents.

The time of inspiration and expiration is the most important part. It forms the following types of respiratory gymnastics:

- Exercises with full exhalation and even inhalation with a delay of breath for a few seconds. This option is suitable for a healthy body and is able to supply it with the necessary amount of oxygen, remove excess carbon dioxide and allow rest during a pause.
- Exercises with deep breathing. After that, the breathing becomes smooth, with a smooth depression until the appearance of a characteristic noise. The time of inhalation and exhalation is the same, without a pause. Breathing is free, slow and rhythmic.
- Exercise with breathing with oncoming movements. Breathing in, the chest rises and the stomach is drawn in. Exhaling, the opposite is true. Breathing is slow, deep and even.

Exercises with full exhalation and even inhalation can be prescribed to weakened people and seriously ill. Types of gymnastics with deep breathing can be used in case of gastrointestinal tract disease, sleep disorders, weakened immunity and fast fatigue. Exercises with oncoming traffic can be used in the treatment of hypertension, bronchitis, pneumonia and other serious enough and unpleasant ailments.
