But the principled Palmer said that she wants to meet with his wife and find out if this is really so.

Our hero is left with nothing else than to tell his assistant Catherine to impersonate his wife for only a few hours. But it was not as Danny imagined. This is the beginning of incredible events, and the characters of the picture are increasingly entangled in this web of lies.

Interestingly, the same story was used in the old Hollywood movie "Cactus Flower" in 1969. The origin of this plot is difficult to trace, but, apparently, it originates in the script for the French play Fleur de cactus.

The actors "Pretend my wife" were chosen very successfully. They supplemented the plot with their wonderful game. As a result - a wonderful, kind film.

Cast: Adam Sandler
