Victory Park (Lipetsk) - a favorite place for recreation of residents and visitors of the city

In any city there is a favorite place for its inhabitants, where you can have fun, relax. Usually green arrays become such. The city of Lipetsk was not an exception. Here the leader in attendance is Victory Park. Lipetsk has other wonderful places to relax, but we will stop there. Victory Park is spread over 35 hectares. It is located between the tract Stone Log, Polygraphic street, the prospectus of 60 years of the USSR and residential quarters.

Before telling what the Victory Park (Lipetsk) represents, I want to stop a little on the history of this landmark. It was founded in 1975 on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Its construction was carried out for 12 years, and only in 1987 it was opened. Originally the name of the park was timed to the anniversary of the holiday, and only in 1999 it began to be called, as now, Victory Park. On its territory are planted more than 40 species of shrubs and trees, which form shady alleys, picturesque natural corners and beautiful groves.

Victory Park (Lipetsk) has many interesting places, one of them is Victory Square, high fir trees are planted around its center, and if you look from above, you can see the clear outlines of a five-pointed star. Nearby is the square of Labor. It has a stele in honor of the inhabitants of the Sovetskiy district, with which this park was laid. In 2005, it was thoroughly reconstructed, changes were made in the course of the work. Instead of one entrance to the territory of the park, two are now open - on the part of the 19 th and 24 th microdistricts. In addition to this, a monument was erected - the creation of the People's Artist of Russia A. Wegner, and in the forest plantation thickets and asphalted paths were laid.

Another attraction, which is famous for Victory Park (Lipetsk), - a museum of military equipment in the open. He began to function on the eve of the celebration of the anniversary of the 50th anniversary of the Victory. Military equipment of the war times is represented here: the legendary "sorokapyatka", artillery pieces. Among the equipment, you can see a real watch boat, which left its mark in history: during the war he took part in the Vistula-Oder operation and reached Berlin. And on July 20, 2013, the Alley of newlyweds was opened in the park, where all newly created families can plant a tree together.

But the most important thing that attracts city dwellers in Victory Park (Lipetsk) is attractions for children and adults. In the first time after the opening, only a few games were set up here, including "Russian swings", "Young", "Bell", "Whirlwind". Their number increased after reconstruction. During this period, sophisticated devices for outdoor activities were set up, such as "UFO", "Fast and the Furious" and others. In the summer of 2013, new installations appeared in the park. Now the residents of the city can ride on the carousel or go to the capsule-cinema. A children's playground was opened, an interactive shooting gallery was opened. Now, if you want, you can test your driving skills on electric cars, enjoy the rope town. Added water attractions, as well as climbing walls. And there are ten new items in the park.

But that is not all! We did not say how attractive the Victory Park in Lipetsk is. The events here are held variously: rallies, tours, competitions, festivals. On holidays, fireworks show is arranged for guests and residents of the city. In addition to all of the above, there is a cafe, a summer disco and billiards. In winter, the inhabitants of the city use the territory of the park for skiing. For convenience, the rental office works. And in winter, to the delight of people of all ages, an ice rink is poured.
